Yes plz
Vector lashes out again, but the nimble, and well-dressed, Thearch slips away from the glowing weapon.
It was all Eclipse could do just to stay away from the swirling blade of light. He had gasped when the blade had cut him, but had otherwise been well served by the tricks Space can play on the attacker's eye.
Still, he wondered if help might ever come.
Eclipse can hear yelling behind him, but it's drowned out by the hissing deluge of the sprinklers overhead suddenly spraying. A moment later, he can feel his skin burning; from Vector's grimace, his is as well, and Niles also begins slapping at the water on him.
Eclipse also sees a rippling distortion in Space as a Scrying window punches through the fabric and bridges the distance between them and the eyes of John Dee.
1B for Eclipse
Although it's probably closer to Fortitude, refresh Eclipse's WP pool for holding the line.
Is Eclipse Dodging again?
Eclipse feels his skin burn and he grits his teeth, ignoring the urge to flee. He would hold Vector here as long as he can, this was the most he could offer to the city of Sacramento and he gave it gladly. As this added conviction washes over him he feels his willpower returning. He was injured, and at a martial disadvantage, but it wasn't over yet.
Eclipse will not be dodging.
"Don't hurt him!" rings out a voice behind Eclipse, one he recognizes as the Hierarch's.
Vector seizes the moment of distraction to lunge forward, and the energy blade slices deeply into the Deacon. White flames surge along it's length this time, and the cut instantly blisters and blackens under the eldritch fire.
2 Agg for Eclipse
Eclipse had been preparing a spell when Vector surged forward and cut him with the living fire. The agony of his wounds, compiled with the physical strain brought on by the Paradox proved too much.
He fell to the ground. Perhaps it was over after all.
