A Letter for Priscus Stamford

A letter is delivered to the Asylum via a hurried looking man with spiked hair and tattooed forearms. He insists on not leaving until he is assured that the letter will be delivered to Ms. Stamford.

The Letter Reads

Madame Priscus Stamford

I'd like to extend an invitation for you to come to the Sundown Sacramento Hotel to meet with me for a chat. I believe that it is past time that we were properly acquainted with one another, and it would be my pleasure to come to better know one of my fellow Priscii, and a member of the First Estate in good standing.

If you will, please respond soon with a convenient date and time.

Victoria took the letter from the man and asked him to wait so that she could write a response. When she was finished she handed the letter to the man and thanked him.

The letter

Lord Councilor Culler,

I would like to thank you for such a generous offer. I agree that it is quite unfortunate that we have not had the opportunity to get properly acquainted. My schedule is free over the next few nights, so perhaps tomorrow evening at midnight if that works for you. Feel free to contact me with a more appropriate time if this is unacceptable. I understand you are a very busy man and would not wish to inconvenience you in any way. If I do not receive a reply I will look forward to our meeting.

When Arnold receives the reply he reads it over. After a small nod of approval he casually puts the letter through the paper shredder sitting at the corner of his desk.

That night at midnight would be just fine.
