Bert drove with Justin around the city, searching for places that would seem like it would serve a purpose for other Lost. He passed a lot of bars but nothing about them seemed spectacular. That was until he passed by a sign that read "Empty Orchestra" that also advertised Karaoke. This seemed unique and nothing was more fun than getting drunk and singing badly. Perhaps this would have enough jovial entertainment to attract others.
"Let's try this place out. If nothing else we could bust out a Bohemian Rhapsody cover." Bert said to Justin as he parked his car. He walked with his new companion and went inside to gaze at the surroundings, searching for anyone in the room that seemed to stare at them as if they saw something in their forms that normal humans could not.
Bert takes a look at his surroundings and looks to see if there's anyone noteworthy beyond being normal humans. He also keeps his ears perked up for the song playing on the machine as he's somewhat interested in the musical choice of the night.
The Empty Orchestra has a few patrons inside, with about half a dozen watching the stage as a blonde girl belts out a squeeky rendition of Enter Sandman, quite an unusual choice judging by the looks of her.
A normal looking man stands behind the bar, cleaning a glass while watching the stage. He has a nametag that says 'Sam'.
He decided to leave his sweater in the car, and just had his mp3 player in his leg pocket. He moved over to the bar, " Hey, hows it going so far tonight ? "
The Empty Orchestra is fairly well spaced with a stage at one end with the karaoke unit set up and the bar along one wall and plenty of tables and seats situated. Its plain and without any flair, which is just as well seeing as a majority of the patrons are generally weird and wonderful enough for Sam's liking.
Bert cringes at the woman's awful rendition of the Metallica cover. Thousands of songs and that was the one she had to pick? Approaching the bar with a big smile after looking at his nametag he says. "Yup we're new to the city. This place seemed most unique in terms of fun compared to all the other bars around here so we thought we'd step in. Are all your customers that...tone deaf?" he asks gesturing to the girl onstage.
