Falx looks towards the stairwell and the gunfight probably hitting the door. "Heh Thank you again Orphan that would have not been pleasant." He glances around the room they are in. "Ok extra observant time anyone else here will know shit is hitting the fan or is going too."
((OOC - So, Orphan is at -3 this turn and -1 next? Or -1 and okay the next? Either way, yeah, I'll have him go with that at the moment, at least his vision is starting to clear some.
Also, sorry about the aborted edit on post 230... I hit edit instead of quote.))
Hearing the gunfire, Orphan figures they're all going to be in combat in short order, and that he'll need all the help he can get, so he takes the opportunity to provide himself with Exceptional Luck, since his Superlative Luck is almost done with and he doesn't want to take the risk of more Paradox unless absolutely necessary.
Exceptional Luck
Not as lucky as he'd have liked, but it would have to do.
Joshua steps back a bit at the fusillade, then actually breaks out in a slight smile. He begins to speak the High Speech, putting power behind his will as he forms another Imago--a pile of Jenga blocks, holes appearing in the tower, collapsing under its own weight.
He sees, but does not hear, brass casings ejected from the SMGs hitting the floor. Eyes slit, he looks past the muzzle flashes and concentrates on seeing the forms of the guns. Joshua sees the three weapons and unleashes his spell, wanting to take the guns out of the equation... but the spell simply isn't strong enough to destroy them.

~~Narration~~
Joshua watches as the gunmen realize something is amiss and then move into shadowed areas where the light doesn't spill. He can see from his vantage point that this room is filled with shelves upon shelves of what appear to be car batteries.
Car batteries, huh? Well, we'll just see about that.
Joshua creates a new Imago, seeing in his mind a car battery, attached to a person, through jumper cables. He sees the person being shocked. Letting his will loose, he tries to make electricity arc from the possible-batteries to the gunmen, hoping maybe this will be enough to take them down. Again he yells syllables of the High Speech, willing the extra power to end this now.
Oh, but the strain is getting to be too much; even using some of his own Mana, he can feel something has gone wrong. Weakened by the strain of so much Abyssal energy being channeled into his Pattern too quickly, the Sentinel can't force the Paradox under this time. The spell goes awry.
Spell stuff
Even over the gunfire, Tug can make out a door being opened above."We got action up top, guys, either follow me or take cover!" Tug yells out to Orphan, Falx, and Bacchus. He's already bounding up the steps two at a time.
~~Narration~~
As Joshua casts, he watches the figures emerge from the dark recesses of the room again. One trains his MP5 on the door as another does a shuffling duck walk toward it with what apears to be a bar of soap.
(( Wits + Occ -5 for Joshua again, please ))
Falx follows Orphan up the stairs. And looks around as he reaches the top.
