    With his facade unwavering, he manages to get Chambers to fold, handing him a quite large- sized pot for free by brazenly going all-in on the river. Philip declines to show his cards, and gives Chambers an expectant look. Got you that time. he thought, pleased with himself. "Go again?" he smugly asked him, returning the taunts Chambers had given him with interest, the victory buoying him inwardly, though he didn`t let it show.

    Its a good thing chambers is not to attached to his money because the enchanter takes a sizeable chuck out of his pile with that expert playing. Casting his cards down admitting defeat. That's what I get for playing an enchanter, magic or no they do have a reputation for being lucky.


    "Very well played Reggie.'' But the night is still young. ''But we both know the cards change with each hand.'' The cards had very little to do with that last hand though. He throws a few chips from his diminished pile to cover the blind and is dealt in.

    Personally bluffing came to close to lying for him and he had no mind to cheat on a friendly contest. So he keeps to his lane pitting his ability to read others against the inscrutable deadpan of Philip.

    he told him, accepting the complement somewhat humbly, before nodding in agreement with Chambers. Yes, and that means lots more attempts to get your money. he thought with glee as his inner greed demon could not get enough. Then he went back to his deadpan to attempt to prevent him from getting anything out of him. However, his latest attempt at a bluff was a farce at best, and an overextension at worst.

    Are you allowed to not do a stratagem, or do you have to decide between bluffing, cheating or reading each time? Assume ties go to defender, on the reading attempt?

    I got you this time. Although his win had not been as absolute as Philips in the previous hand and he was still down chips from his starting funds. ''Thanks. Just good luck really.'' His eyes twinkle with mirth knowing Philip would both get the jest and hoping he understood nothing was amiss, after all no magic could be felt coming from Chambers.

    Philip got the joke, but was not in a joking mood after having lost the last hand. So he resumed his deadpan and just nodded.
    "Well, there`s no time like the present."
    To empty your wallet. he thought, internally finishing his sentence. No doubt Chambers got his own pun. Glancing at his cards, this time he decided to not do any fancy tricks.

    It's closer then the previous hands but he is ultimately out played as momentum swings back into Philips court.

    Okay two can play this game. and the second one needs to really up his game. A little internal berating of his own carelessness. ''I think it's about time you take the first move.'' Maybe this is where I'm losing out, being to hasty. ''Lets see if you've got what it takes to capitalise on these gains of yours.'' How will this play out when we shake things up a little.
