Her mind works over what the point of the display was. Was it purely educational? Or was this something else...a way to prove oneself better then the other?

Since Vincent was still conscious and talking, she remains seated.

The Stoney result of his contract recedes and mitigates leaving Kray to look Vincent in the face. The grip is not the carefully gentle restraint Kray uses when dealing with most things but a barely contained force of someone who is contemplating snapping a spine today, or worse. 'You lose.'

'I said I wouldn't break your bones today.' And Kray let's go. The almost growl of the baritone suggests that might be all keeping Vincent out of the hospital.

He walks a few paces to clear his own head as much as put a little distance between him someone he just thought about eating. 'So. You gave your all to dodge me, so much so you didn't have time left to take advantage of the opening. And still got hit then grabbed for your troubles.' Even tried using magic. 'But if you didn't do all that you would have taken a much worse hit.' Do you see it, do you see now Vincent, for all your fine ideas why a fight doesn't go as it should on paper?. 'Sarah, you were watching. What was the right answer, what should he have done?' One final lesson for today.

I know its at 30 days but one final lesson seems like a good place to finish so I'll close it up after one more post from each if that's alright?

After shaking off the hold. "I was attempting to dodge, if it was a real fight I would have attacked. Maybe moved out of the way of the charge before going in for a quick attack."

[Seraphina]

At the question, she looks a bit surprised, “It’s hard for me to give an answer, as I’ve never been in that situation. But it looks like giving your size and strength, distance would have a good call, getting out of grabbing range. Again, this is coming from someone without a lot of experience in the situation.” But distance seemed like a good answer. Was it wrong? Probably.

“If it wasn’t a real fight, why pop a Contract? Seemed to me you were ready to go all in.” a shrug before reaching into her bag and pulling out two more water bottles, standing and offering them to the guys.

“All in all, it certain opened my eyes to a lot thing sin regard to combat. And I thank you both for that, hopefully, we can all meet up again when I’ve had time to train a bit more.” Then a smile, “And maybe then, I’ll have something to show off and have you critique.”

Kray snorts a little derisively. How proud do you need to be. Shaking his head a little. He'll bite off more then he can chew at some point. But will leave the beast to his delusions.

To Sarah. 'It's clear I'm faster, distance would not have helped.' The answer is simple, attack for all your worth if your getting killed regardless, try to kill them first. 'He needed to take me out before I closed. Once I was on him, it was over.'

He nods. 'Yeah. Sounds good. Till then.' He'll take the water and with a tip of the hat to the Spring sovereign and a nod to Vincent to show no ill will, its time to gather stuff up and depart.
