Did the Dreamer not know this was a, well, dream? It was possible, anything was possible with enough manipulation and talent. But it was concerning.

“Yes, a dream.” Not quite sure how she wanted to proceed with this, but felt like she didn’t have much time to waste thinking. “Who will catch you? Can you tell us who or what will catch you? We can help.” A look to Sonnie.

But that cold? That wasn’t a good sign. Another look to Sonnie, “I think we either need to move, or fill that in.” gesturing to the path and the rising fog. “We don’t want to deal with that again, and I don’t know how much the Dream can take before I can’t keep it together.” She could try and force it again, but Dreams were delicate, more delicate than some might think, and too much change and push could make it beyond even her control to hold together. Or she could try her skill against the Dreamers mind and see if she could overcome it and change the Dream that way.

Sonja was already eyeing the encroaching fog with experienced concern, and nodded in agreement with the Fairest. "Yeah, time we were heading out." She looked at the new path that had revealed itself. "Or up, as the case might. Up is good."

The simian Beast walked to the skyward trail and set foot on it. "Can you convince your new friend to join our evacuation?"

Spotting Vincent approaching, she waved him over.

[Saber Sloth]

Vincent finally catches up to his fellows, Sera trying to calm the Dreamer, still in white, though notably more grimy than their once glowy visage would have lead the Solstice Courtier to believe.

Looking up, Sonnie only sees the blue of the sky above, but they were still in dreamland, up was still a possible direction to go.

Sera, splitting her focus between the Dreamer, her fellow Lost, and the Dream itself, first reaffirms that even if the Shadow was slain this was still a Nightmare, and from the look of things, a reoccurring one.

"I have to get away! I can't - can't get caught!" the Dreamer says, frantic, "I can't!" their eyes flit around, scanning, searching, lingering on the fog... "No-nonononononono - !" tearing their gaze from the fog to look tearfully at Sera, reaching forward to pull on her hands, "We have to go, we have togowehavetogo!" terrified, they start to glow again. "Please!"

Glancing up, “Well, up is always an option.” Agreeing with Sonnie, “Not sure, but I can try.” She didn’t have a feeling this one was going to be easily convinced that they needed to follow them.

Eyes focused back on the Dreamer, then back to Sonnie, “The problem is this is a reoccurring Nightmare for them. So getting them to alter their course might prove difficult.” They had been there over and over again. And she wasn’t sure if they remembered being in this Dream and had figured things out, or if they kept doing the same mistakes over and over.

“And I think it has to do with that fog.” It was a constant player, and it seemed to set the Dreamer off.

But she lets them take her hands, “We want to get you out of here, get you somewhere safe. And going up,” eyes looking up to the path, “could buy us time. We won’t let whatever it is get you.” but what was sticking out to her was the way the Dreamer glowed brighter when they either got scared or when the fog approached. Almost like a lighthouse, could be something, could be nothing.
