Rails calls Corn

Rails wonders why Crystal had given him Corn's contact information out of all the Mages in the Consilium.

Is it just because they'd discussed his Shadow Name? Or is something more...interesting going on here?

Only one way to find out. Rails produces his burner phone and dials Corn's number.

*RING RING*

[Corn]

Unknown number... Corn thought.
"Hello. Who is there please?" he asked.

[Rails]

Silence for a moment as Rails listens to the tone and timber of the voice on the other end of the line. And then:

"Hey. Yeah. Our friend Chris gave me your number. Said we might have stuff to talk about. Name's Lanny. New in town."

Hopefully that's enough to get things going.

[Corn]

Chris? Lanny? Who... oh, ohhhh. Better make sure.
"Chris? Chris the Christian Dior wrapped guy? Oh, sure! So, Lanny. It has been long time. We should meet and catch up in person. There is a place, that we used to hang out with Chris. He probably told you about the place. It is close to [A] an [B]. Make sure to not pass it, it easy to miss for those that don't know how to find it. Want to meet there soon? Every friend of Chris is a friend of mine."

[A] and [B] are landmarks close to the circle of creation.

[Rails]

“That’s the one.”

Guy can talk.

“Cool. See you there.” The line goes dead.
