A small buzz sounded briefly from Jennifer's clutch. She silenced the phone and noted the time.

"The conversation has been so stimulating, that time has slipped away. It was lovely to meet you, CW. Good to have a moment to converse, Chris." A genuine and honest statement as she nods to the two gentlemen. "Good evening, Conner."

Jennifer rose smothly, pausing for any goodbyes to be said. She also made her intention to leave clear, and did not look with any presumption towards Chris. It was quite possible that he had found an after hours partner. Jennifer wasn't one to break up a party.
After a few moments for goodbyes, the Lady strides with confidence to the main room to make goodbyes.

And then things just fell into place, like they sometimes do. Jennifer realized she was busy, the book-in-bars guy fell quiet and CW and he had all the time in the world.

He smirked at the rakish guy - it was time to cut through the small talk. "So you wanna get out of here or what?"

"Likewise," Worm replies to Jennifer with warm a smile. Suddenly realizing he hadn't caught her name. Strangers in the night, indeed.

He sets his sight back on Chris: "You must be a mind reader."

This is gonna be fun.

"Night, Conner. Don't get in too much trouble." A wink to the other dude before he downs his drink, gives Chris one last look, and starts for the door.
