A letter to Helen

A folded letter is slipped under the door to Helen's Chamber in the Necropolis. It is hand written in an elegant script.


Dearest Cousin

I hope that you are well. I am concerned about our relationship after last meeting. I hope that you might forgive me my actions. I understand if you feel a betrayal in the matter, I ask you grace me with the honour of your presence that I might attempt to explain why I chose the way I did. If you can find it in your heart to hear me out, I have another matter to broach with you. It has come to my attention that apart from our noble heritage, we also share a common belief in a covenant and it is perhaps past time that we explore that area of interest.

Please attend my quarters at your convenience.

The answer is written in a script that is not a scrawl just yet, but far below the calligraphy of the note that spawned it. That it's in pencil also doesn't save it many points.
