Milton gets a call

Setting up a meeting had been mentioned in the past, and it seems like the Prince was ready to set that time up.

Milton does not recognize the number, but picks up promptly nonetheless. You never know when a new client will come knocking.

"This is Milton Northbridge."

[Alessandra]

Gabriel, having been trained well, gets right to the point of his call.

“Mr Northbridge, this is Gabriel, I’ve been advised to set up an appointment for you to meet with the boss.” His voice gravelly, “Her schedule has a free evening on (insert date &time). If it’s agreeable, I’ll let her know and she will be expecting you then.” If not? Well, that was on Milton to deal with.

[Milton]

"Ah, yes. Good evening, Gabriel," Milton replies. His politeness more a cover as he processes the implications of the call than anything else.

"Please thank the...Boss for the invitation. And let her know that I will be there at the appointed date and time." Equally to the point. What else is there to say? Milton would not dare to negotiate the details of the meeting.

[Alessandra]

“I’ll let her know to expect you then.” And he ends the call. He had a task, he fulfilled his task.
