Phoenyx calls Guru

One Wednesday afternoon, Guru gets a phone call.

Guru had to take a second to look at this phone, pulling his sunglasses down and squinting to see who was calling. Of course she'd call and not text. He chuckled and shifted where he was heading as he answered the phone. "Go for Josh. Just heading to my car, one second." There was a beep and then the sound of a door shutting. "What's up?"

[Phoenyx]

"Hey Josh." The voice sounded mych as the Arrow always did. Steady, unrushed. "It's Alice. I was wondering if you would be free to meet? I have a few things I would like to discuss with you." Direct as ever.

[Guru]

He knew this was the way she spoke, it was always formal. But he still couldn't help feel that cold chill as his lower body tensed. The cops are calling. "Yea, yea. Uh, schedule's a little full right now but I could swing by your place soon maybe?"

At Cap right now is the only issue and the one closest to closing is gonna have a follow up it seems.

[Phoenyx]

"Alright. Just let me know when you will be available, and we can sort something out then."

Ah. okay. Didn't notice that. It can always wait until you have more space

"It'll be a couple weeks probably, sorry. But I'll make sure to clear some time off in my schedule and we'll sit down and talk. What kinda baked good do you want since I have time to prep and I'll bring it when I stop on by."

Sounds good, I should be good in a couple of weeks.

[Phoenyx]

"That's alright." The voice sounds indifferent. "I... don't tend to snack on sweet things. Cookies, I guess?" There's a small amount of genuine uncertainty. "Just let me know when you're available, and I'll see you then."
