    Nimbus:
    The sound of chattering teeth accompanies a scent of chemical sanitizer and fresh earth when Eulogy makes his will manifest.

    During Vulgar will working the sound of teeth becomes a overpowering rattle of bone on bone. The scent turns putrid as that of decaying flesh, The clean scent of sanitizer becomes a fetid miasma of gaseous stench.

    Walls and the Floor become slightly tilted, there's a sickly sweet and sharp smell in the air. Faintly, the sound chains (and even fainter: the sound of leather) can be heard. More powerful spells make the sounds more pronounced and colors seem to pulsate.

    Crystal shrugged at Guru's jab. "I'd rather say it like it is than coax you into something by 'upselling' it. Knowing that could happen is half the battle after all." A rather joyless smirk appeared on the Warlock's lips. "But to say something actually comforting: we'd be in this together."

    He listened to Kaze and nodded empathically. "Yeah, hard agree on that. I mean, everybody is free to do whatever they feel like on their own, but to drag the others with them should require everyone's agreement. Fuck efficiency - even if that's our thing, we can't help everyone all the time." And like Guru said: there most likely weren't that many people that needed assistance anyway. Times have been rather calm since he's been here.
    "About projects: nothing really groundbreaking comes to mind for me. It'd be cool to establish a shared sanctum, maybe even an archive of knowledge." This was the Mystagogue speaking. "But I don't feel like we should force anything without reason - maybe at first we'll just go with the flow, meet every once in a while and know that we're there for each other. Until something important comes up, either from within or from the outside."
    And with the only member of the Silver Ladder that he knew of they'd have promising means of shutting down any attempts to fuck them over.

    Hearing that the lasagna was almost done was good: Crystal didn't want to get hammered tonight. Maybe when everything was said and done, but until then it was good to not drink too much on an empty stomach.

    Appears like there's a filter that blurs his image, the background suddenly more lush and vibrant than it once was. Tendrils of vines slowly edging their way to the borders of that veil.

    Crystal couldn't know but those works stuck in Guru's head and he could already feel the pressure on him and it felt wrong. It's not what he wanted, he knew it wasn't where he was meant to be; head down, keep quiet, but he was being called to it. He pushed against it but it sat in his stomach like a pit. Only focusing on the chaos he could control for the moment, the cooking.


    "Yea I getcha. It's gonna look bad and I really don't wanna fuckin deal with that shit but..." He gave a one shouldered shrug before he set the mit back on the counter returning to his glass and reached for it before realizing it was empty as he lifted it from the counter. "When you put it like that Crystal it makes sense. Focusing on territory first is a good idea, that should be our next step and what our next meeting should be about. Where do we locate and why? From there maybe we discover more at what's at our core?" Maybe he shouldn't have had so much wine before eating.
