Quinn called J.C from the Chapter house. She paced slightly. Listening to the phone start ringing.
She put the phone on speaker, and checked her makeup out quickly in the mirror. While she waited for J.C to answer. She was mentally berating herself. How could she forget that was tonight??!

"Hi Quinn," came the Gangrel's voice from the far end.

I know things have been weird since the park, and I haven't had a chance to talk to you, much less Dirt Nap, but a mutual friend of ours with a speech impediment has invited me and a plus one out on a double date. I know this is completely last minute, but would you like to go to a double feature showing in a independent bookstore?"

"It doesn't have to be a date date....I mean of course platonic is fine, but I wouldn't mind having you as a plus one. I know our mutual friend approves of you. I met her...uh...friend at that super special club that is at the top of the city." (She was meaning Nexxus. Supernatural's know it.)
