Letters to the Councilors

Aurora and Puck receive identical letters in the pigeonholes at the Circle, written in a delicate cursive in scarlet ink.



Councilor,

I would like to call a meeting of the Council to discuss the current Charter.

Several of the declarations are designed for an organization of a much larger size, making several processes either impractical or redundant. Usually this involves the processes restricting certain actions to roles that have not been held for months. Such rules were initially overlooked for practicality but bending lesser rules can lead to bending more important ones simply for convenience.

It is our role to ensure the Laws are upheld, but this also requires we adapt our internal affairs to the times we find ourselves.

To this end I would like to invite you to my Order's headquarters at [date], [time].

Please let me know if this time is inconvenient.

The letter, and how formal it was, came as a surprise. Especially at learning Phoenyx had a last name! Then again, they all kinda did with their sleeper names.

So she scribbles out a reply, the writing no where near as neat, but still somewhat readable..

I think I need to clear things up a little.

I thought that while the vote was clear, West's suggestion was liked but not explicitly confirmed, so I've been operating under the assumption that nothing had changed. If I've read this wrong, that's fine. I just thought it was an idea for a scene. We can still do it or not.
