Mable waves at everyone with her free hand. "Hi everyone."
Then they were off to the bar. "Right behind you." she says to Emily. "I'm not drinking tonight, I'll drive you home" She winked at the double meaning of drive you home.

Twist would be lying to herself if she said that she wasn't pleased as her small group became not so small. But she never had been good at lying. And she really didn't see a point in doing it now.
Unlike with Mathew and even Hector's intensity, James arrived in fully glory of ... otherness. Alice-white and that was only the start. His ... eyes? pulled but she didn't want to look but where else does one look when talking to a ... person? His name seemed to imply such. John. A common name here.
Next to John's entrance and appearance it was almost easy to miss Chris sliding into the group. His captivating looks prevented that though.
And so she offered a smile to both of the new arrivals, "We were just making introductions."
And then Circe and Emily. Two who apparently needed no introduction. At least not to Mhairi and Mathew and Hector. Twist raised an eyebrow with an amused smile at the aggressive hug with Mhairi. It seemed ... out of character but one evening was never enough to truly know a person as evidenced by the return hug offered. As far as Emily's arrival and warning, Twist's amused smile morphed into one of almost arrogance. Oh she hadn't killed anyone. She hadn't even been the one to terrify the silly little man. But she was House Millarr and what was one's was all's.
The sudden snarl of her beast announced Mable. Catching the deep nod, she offered a small nod in return as she reigned in the sudden surge to kill, accepting the respect offered. But she caught the tone of greeting given to the female with the warning and so she left their interaction at that.
Circe. She caught the introduction offered on the tail end of a flurry of words. And then Matthew surprised her. She didn't understand his reference - she hadn't seen anyone killed and was definitely not looking for a killer, but his suggestion to break away was ... forward. She wouldn't have expected it from him, and she was glad she had held her tongue and thoughts upon first greeting him.
A mischievous look sparkled on her face as she caught Matthew's eye, "I am never one to shy away from being the spotlight of so many, but you are not wrong. And so many good things come after hello."
And stepping back from the group, she created a space, a divide.
She wasn't worried about being one to leave. She was sure at least one would follow.
Twist steps to here.
Hector felt the group swirl around him. He was already picking up some of the connections betweenhisthe wolves and the Others. If only he could smell them politely without giving offence. Better yet - if they could simply pop over the Gauntlet and check out each other Renown Marks.
But he wasn't among Wolves so the normal rules didn't apply.
Now this delicate and seductive... woman... had enough mystery around her to be something important. And she knew Tiny apparently.
Adapt.
That was enough for the impulsive Alpha. Giving everyone a respectful nod - and somehow managing to squeeze in well choreographed chin-juts to the Elodoth DrDog and the Ithaeur Xadun - he followed Twist
lHector joins Twist's group
As the other people joined and left the crowd he felt the weight of the others push down around him and begin to squeeze. He could feel it in his chest, as it shortened his breath. Thumb tucking into the pocket of his pants so he could idly tap on the side of his leg. He heard Mihairi speak and Circe came through as always, like a wrecking ball. A smirk playing at his lips as he imagined her and Ram as buddy cops. Though he did note that Sera and Rhodes got outed when they weren't around.
"Ah, yes. You're spoken of fondly, glad I can finally connect a face to a name." Taking that moment, fingers tapping a rhythm on his pocket as he took a mental snapshot of her and everyone else that introduced themselves. Finally that information away in the recesses of his memory palace. Never know what you needed to know or when. "Seems life took you on a different path. Has to be a story there."
A smirk at Hector's comment, recognizing the irony of that statement, while Tiny's self-deprecating humour caused the darkling to smile and give a short, soft laugh. "You have no idea Matthew." He mirrored Hector's shrug in return, copying the nonchalance. "Seems so, couldn't tell you. Be interested in your story if you've got the time or inclination."
He nodded his agreement as Twist invited Chris in with a casual ease. She made social grace look natural where he felt so stiff and rigid. He let the group break off give him a second to take a breath., letting the weight of the group disappear for a moment as he hung behind for a short while not wanting to leave Mhairi's conversation behind in the middle. It would have been rude and he didn't wish to seem impolite.
Circe smiles at this Hector. "Hello Hector, ya've already heard my name that is one of oh such fun fame," And Circe had actually looked it up beyond the whole Wonder Woman villain thing. Greek mythology was eerily reminiscent of The True Fae. Could be Olympus was a hang out for a bunch of banished.
And Hector said THAT to John! Circe had to bite her lip to keep from laughing as the mortal's pun upon the Winter's cool nature. Distraction? Sure! "Don't sell yerself short Matt," she praises Tiny. "Aww so sad," she pouts at Tiny, "Ya can have so much fun in a group clustered together so, hmm, intimately." Circe was teasing him. He had been so easy to fluster before so why not troll him a little now? She then laughs at Emily's introduction of her girlfriend, "Oh indeed it is good ta see ya too Emily. And why the surprise," she waves her hand around the room, "Haven't ya heard the song? If ya got it, flaunt it."
"I am rather tempted ta get drunk here, though never with a beer, and drunk I'd be a lot at which folks could leer, oh ho ho ho ho ho! Oh ho ho ho ho!" She waves her her hand in the negative at Mhairi and Mya, "Sorry, was holding that in on an earlier funny," she winks at Mhairi. Hopefully her fellow Lost knew what she meant.
The cluster of people were quite a bunch, most of them faces she had never seen before with a few exceptions.
Walking up to them now more collected and back to her usual calm self, eyes quickly falling on the exotic beauty she had met shortly before Christmas.
"Did not expect to see you here, did you have a good Christmas?" Looking over them all. "Hi my name is Skye, nice to meet you all."
Shifting her attention back to Circe/Mary/Merry.
"Have you managed to craft something interesting as of late?"
Twist's smile made Crystal feel a lot of things - frankly, most of them things he could do without - but just like that everyone had moved on, groups have been divided seemingly at random and he found himself basically ignored. This sucked, he was not used to being treated like that in a social setting. Had he been a big fish in a small pond all along, being thrown into the ocean where the real leviathan swam?
No, fuck that. There was a moment of anger, where all he wanted was to rip some Supernal truth through the Abbys into the heads of whomever was gathered - hell, would Magic even work on Vampires? He'd be doing the Mysterium proud by doing that - but that moment passed. There was no need no start anything stupid, so instead he opted to deal with negativity the old fashioned way: drowning it.
He looked at the suggested partners for this particular evening: both very pretty, although one seemed to have been stuck in the 90s fashion-wise and the other.. well, the other made him sick in his stomach the way Twist and Kaze's girl made.
Not a problem. That's something you could drown too.
"Fondly?" rhetorically, "Well, that's a relief," thinking back on anything and everything that created her time in Sacramento. There was things she wasn't proud of, which always, always stuck out over the ones that she was proud of. "Nothing worth a bardic effort," she murmurs to James Turner , mind still flashing. She's feeling away from herself. Sera's getting married. Married. Seraphina. Wow. She suddenly feels like a worthless friend. She has the time to return to Sacramento for a pleasurable interlude, but to stop by a friend.... a friend who was getting married. Married! She's going to have to do something, a phone call, a gift....a dress.....yes. A dress. One fit for the Queen the Nix was.
Settling more in her skin, she feels Fear's embraces and sighs into it. Feeling like she's slicking away metaphorical tail between her legs as she seeks out Myah. For comfort, for distance.
She knows she'll feel that hot-cold-sour ichor of guilt no matter, so she might as well bottle it up, and enjoy herself.

James couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow when she made a short joke with Matthew, he seemed to have a good sense of humour but it was a bold move to say to a total stranger. He felt bad about giving Crystal the cold shoulder but he could really only handle so much interaction at once and the group had gotten too large by that point for him to deal with it as a whole. Then another approached, Skye, mental picture taken. Got it. Giving a wave that was both hello and goodbye to Skye and Crystal for now.
He’d been in the middle of a conversation with people anyway and wasn’t about to break that up. He gave a half a smile as Mhairi replied and he nodded in response. As her body shifted and she began to follow the group he did as well. “Maybe. Maybe not. Now’s not the time for it clearly but my interest remains the same.” It was a matter of fact, nothing more. If she wanted to tell him she could but he didn’t think pressing would help anything.

Tiny watches how the people drift away, taking stock of those that remain. Apparently people listen to total strangers, when the idea is good enough.
Weird. Skye Circe , and Crystal seem to be the ones left, and he turns to Chris, familiar wit the ladies from previous outings. How small a city this is. "Apparently I can clear people out whenever I want. I shall have to use this power judiciously." He laughs, looking at the very pretty man in front of him, "So whats your superpower?"
