[Ram]

Ram was happy to finally have ball. Now he just had to get cross the court and back. Which would have been easier if he could throw weight around. However, he couldn’t shoulder aside the opposition. He was honestly less worried about accidentally hit Skye since she had survived a run in already but Hector’s frantic movements made Ram think it fell to the Ogre to be the one to show restraint.

He kept his back to the Cahalith as much as possible and hope Skye wouldn’t want another potential run in.

What happened next was a frantic shuffle from one side of the Court to the other.

Ram was simply much too massive, and neither Skye nor Hector were able to prevail against him.

As a result, the big man had a fairly unobstructed run; but the swirl and press of bodies was enough to knock his concentration.

At the last minute Hector attempted to wrest the ball from Ram. The rangy man managed the feat... just!

And then Skye made her own play and knocked the ball clean out of Hector's hands. The ball bounced cleanly away from the group.

Hector chased after it!

I am calling that round a draw. Hector and Skye cancelled each other out with 2 successes each! And Ram failed his roll - so he had the ball, but was unable to capitalise on it!

[Skye]

The ball bouncing away as she finally starts to feel like her bearings are where they should be, chasing after the ball, pressing her hand against it, bouncing it as she looks over the other two.

Bouncing it with her left, then her right and back to her left going back and forth with which hand to use before taking it down and going against the basket trying her best to simply bounce the ball the right way as she spins around the both of them and then catches it up again on her way to a good area to try and score from, her body finally seeming to move like it should again and not being a total klutz.

And just like that it was gone. A deep growl that sounded vaguely like "damn," reverberated through his throat. Between Hector and Skye the ball seemed to flow away from him as if on a swift stream. Ram was getting very frustrated with all this fancy footwork going on. He stopped for a moment to catch his breath and then bull rushed after the other two.

Hector is almost completely outclassed by Skye as she flows around him, snatching the ball before he can reach it and carrying it away.

He comes to a staggering halt and is nearly bowled over by Ram as he rushes by. Finally with some clear space, the ragged fellow starts to jog swiftly as he tries to chase down Skye.

[Skye]

Running for the hoop, her eyes looking in as she tries to take her aim, not a sport shes used to playing and the excitement of seeing if anyone will ever score not to mention playing a competition where the result didn't really matter at all again seemingly getting to her as she lowers her tempo, lightly chuckles a bit as she gets into the joy of just playing.

Ram ran toward the ball and in a split second decision he devoted himself to a switch of tactics. He wasn't the most dexterous of people but he was intimidating. Let's see if he could use that. He gave a roar as he continued his charge at full speed. If he could scare them into giving over the ball he'd be across the court before they recovered.

[Hector]

Hector closes on Skye and the pair scrabble around the court. Eventually, the rangy man manages to win the ball from the lithe, playful, woman.

While the pair played around, Ram was lining himself up. When he moved he was a titanic jaggernaut, a physical meteor blazing through the space of the court.

Hector was bowled over, blasted away from the ball by Ram's shocking contact.

Ram kept going, hurtling toward the hoop -

And as he careened into the fencing that framed the court, the big guy simply plopped the ball in the hoop as he passed by.

"Whoa!" Hector whooped, gasping and laughing - yes, laughing - from his position on the ground where he had rolled into a messy heap. He sat up, his boyd shaking with mirth and exertion.

"That was... That was something else! Did you see that? That was... Awesome!" He slapped his palm down hard on the surface of the court.

For someone who had been dashing all over the place, his breath was not really that laboured.

I figure we let Ram Scourge win. We are almost at the month mark so lets draw the scene to a close . Really enjoyed this.

[Skye]

Her play with the Hector taking all her attention, smiling and seeming to really enjoy herself it was nice to just mess around with people with no real need for winning, losing, hurting or getting hurt at all just a couple of people having fun no more no less.

Jumping out of the way as the titan approached, making sure to not be in the way but sadly losing the chance for the ball in the process.

Watching him score there was just one thing left to do.

Jump up on her hands and applauding with her feet.
"WHOOAA! Way to go!"

Throwing herself back a bit to land on her feet again, stretching out her hand to Hector.
"Thanks for a fun game."

[Ram]

The rim gave a metallic creak as Ram jumped and dunked the ball. The basket didn’t fully return to its previous position, instead remaining slightly titled from the Render’s score. Oops.

Ram stood for a second afterwards, taking a couple breaths to reassess what he’d just done. Looking back it seemed Hector hadn’t been hurt but the Ogre felt a bit guilty. He hadn’t meant to get so physical. So angry.

But he smiled hesitantly at the crazed laughter of the werewolf, even if he felt kind of guilty.

“Thanks,” he said rubbing the back of his neck with calloused fingers. “Good game.”
