[Campanella]

Campanella turned to Skye

"Yes. A bit of greenery - occasionally - can work wonders."

He gave Naga and Aurora a sneaky look filled with wit. "A beach trip... I'm sure you both should work together on that. Aurora is keen to get everyone out of doors, it would seem. I've taken up a correspondence with a colleague, if you must know. The intellectual journey has been stimulating enough; I fear adding the outdoors would be just too much right now."

His eyes gleamed with mirth and he even chuckled a little.

He may well have continued on his theme with Phoenyx but the pink haired Arrow spoke up. The Moros' eyes shot up - at the audacity as much as anything else - and he quickly sank back in his seat, hiding behind his glass of beer.

[Aurora]

The Shaman opens her mouth to reply to Phoenyx, but then closes it. Blinking a few times, she seems a bit unsure, her cheeks flushed, looking at her beer, “Was just a suggestion.” Her voice quiet as she drinks her beer.

Thankfully, Naga gives her an out, “A few of us got together at a local lake last month. Was pretty fun, had some food and just hung out. But I’m sure we could throw a trip to beach together.” That could happen.

“There are some really good ciders. And some of them are perfect when the weather cools off. So don’t worry about not knowing a lot about beer, sometimes it’s just about knowing what you like.”
And did she just ask Phoenyx out?! Oh, this was going to be good.

Her cheeks flushed again, and there was a shy shrug, “I was just trying to help.” And she wanted to drown in the beer at this point. She could technically do it. But settles on just drinking it and looking at anything but those around her.

[Phoenyx]

Phoenyx watches the conversations, feeling a little out of place. The other women made it look so easy. just talk and discuss. But if if wasn't magic, fighting or philosophy, the Arrow felt more than a little lost at sea.

"Give what time?" she asks, before her eyes widen at Skye's question. "I'm not... That is, I'm not sure that would be appropriate," she replies a little hesitantly. "Do... do you think I am homosexual? Because I am not." The First Talon was starting to blush deeper pink. She shift awkwardly and began drinking her beer, much quicker than before.

Conversation with Campenella seemed to have passed, but she listened when he spoke.

Aurora seemed to back down from her challenge, making her brow furrow in thought. Wasn't she going to stand her ground? The blonde looked unhappy, and that made Phoenyx feel concerned. She didn't want to upset Aurora. "I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable," thw Arrow says, desperately trying to change topic from Skye's offer. "It just seemed you wanted to lure us into different enviorns to those we prefer, amd I wondered why." She tried to make the question approaching, but it was hard. She tried smiling to her friend to show her she was interested.

[Naga]

"A beach trip sounds like a blast. I'd be up for it. Name the time and place. I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the local beaches. Are there good ones around here?" The Warlock nodded, as she looked from Campanella to Aurora, approving of the idea.

Eyebrows rose in amusement as Skye asked Phoenyx out on a date, and the Obrimos' quick rejection of the idea. Naga stifled any possible laughter by taking a drink of her beer.

[Skye]

Smiling towards Campanella.
"It really can, it's ever so soothing for the body to just leave behind the stress of the world and enjoy nature. One need to be careful though as it can be quite addictive at least in my experience." Then again for her nature was home.

"Hmm if you say so, I am mostly used to cold cider though which is better now when it's hot. I think I had some none alcoholic warm ones at a winter fair or market when I was younger not really sure though. Nevertheless so why not."
Sipping her beer a bit.
"Ohh whilst I have you, do you know if there are any good events to get in contact with people to sell or fix various furniture with a primary angle towards wooden ones? I have gotten my workshop up and running and would quite enjoy trying to turn it profitable and make a slim name for myself in the business." She quite enjoyed her current job though but still it was not bad to branch out.

Giggling a bit and shaking her head towards the first talon with a kind smile.
"No I know that you're not but I did hope that you were at least bi-curious, ohh well if you change your mind so do you know how to reach me." Not seeming all that bothered by the rejection, it was not her first and it would most certainly not be her last.

"Ohh if you ever get the chance so would I recommend going to a mountain river, that is a sight to behold and the water can both look and feel so nice and as a bonus often less people around."

[Campanella]

Campanella held his breath for an awkward moment as the pink-haired Shaman made her offer and was politely turned down by the Mighty First Talon.

He bobbed his head quickly in agreement with Skye views on nature.

He leaned forward, quick to move on and placed down his drink.

"I know nothing of local beaches. Perhaps if you all took a few days to enjoy the coast?"

He spoke to Naga directly but with an occasional glance at Aurora to keep her in the conversation.

"Or perhaps look to Folsom Lake on the east side of the city. It must surely have a recreational beach of some description - and there is some parkland around its shores, too!" He added with a glance toward Skye.

He attempted to give Phoenyx a reassuring smile but the result was altogether too subtle.

[Aurora]

The Arrows reaction was a welcome distraction, and Aurora finds herself smiling and chuckling a little.

A hand quickly waves away the concern, smile tight and forced, “It’s fine, nothing to worry about.” Maybe a bit too quickly. “We can just move on.” Very eager to change the subject.

“Uh, my schedule is usually pretty open. And there is one or two, I think, local beaches. Nothing as nice as the actual coast, but not horrible either. I’ll work on planning something then give you a call, and anyone else who wants in, and we’ll enjoy the sun!” it’d be fun to get out and relax.

Skye’s question catches her off guard. And she takes a few seconds to think of an answer. “I don’t, and any contacts I have are work contacts, my own customers.” And she was not sharing those. Was her fellow Shaman moving in on her work?

Looking back at her beer, nodding, “That’s a good idea. I’ll make some calls, thank you for the suggestion.” Proceeding to drink more, finishing it, and ordering another. This wasn’t go how she wanted.

[Phoenyx]

Phoenyx shot an anxious look at people's reactions. "No! I'm not... I... Um..." She felt very exposed, and was still blushing. Naga and Aurora seemed amused, while Campenella was inscruitable.

She could tell Aurora was trying to put things to rest quickly - is was something she did herself. But it felt weird coming from her friend.

"Maybe visiting the beach could be fun," she says tentatively, finishing her drink and slipping away to the bar.

[Skye]

Noting Campanella's words she would be sure to look into that place later.

Shrugging her shoulders a bit towards Aurora.
"Ohh well." Finishing her drink in one fell swoop. "That's to bad well if you hear anything please let me know it would be nice to find some people to build some furniture they would enjoy for. To listen to what they want, to find the right wood for it, to hear it sing to you and create something with a set person and/or preferably and purpose in mind and give it life would be so nice. I love seeing my creations bring joy to others however I am not sure what to sell and I do not have a grand enough capital to just create stuff randomly and try to sell them or well at least not small things so it would be better to be hired to build a specific thing." Sighing a bit "Well I am gonna look into if there are any markets, fares or other places where I can at least do small things and display who knows one day you might refurbish something I have built so it will have life from both of us in it."

Looking towards Phoenyx.
"I am sorry for taking you out of your comfort zone, sadly shame or holding back is not really me I am afraid. Better to be rejected a thousand times or fail a thousand times at various things than to always wonder what might have been." Giving her a warm kind smile hoping it would help her ease up a bit as she starts to get ready to end the night.

[Campanella]

Campanella finishes his beer quietly. He only becomes aware of the yawning silence when he reaches across the table for a few lukewarm fries.

"Well this has made for an interesting afternoon."

He spoke to fill the void, smiled to break the ice once more.

"It has ben good to see you all."

It was time to wind things down.
