A wax-sealed envelope is placed within Rebecca Simmons mailbox at the Nox. Pressed between the wax seal and the paper is the stem of the Amethyst flower, the flower itself unmarred by wax. The letter within is hand written.

It is my hope that this letter finds you well. I am Ellis Meadows, a recent arrival in Madame Prince Antinori's Domain. While I have already met with Madame Seneschal York in regards to the particulars of the Prince's Will, I wished to meet with you in your capacity as the First Estate's Au Pair so that I may ensure that my transition between Domains is as smooth as possible, at least in the realm of proper etiquette within the First Estate. As well, I had hoped that you would be willing to speak on the relationship between the First Estate and the other factions that share the Madame Prince's Domain with us, so that I may better represent the First Estate's interests at Court.
