Matt sighs, "Yeah. Been tryin' for a year. It doesn't take. But thanks. You're good company, Mary. I'm gonna head out." he says, waiting a beat as Circe moves off to tend to the fallen man, and then striding out.

Matt leaves the scene after Circe leaves to talk to Fawkes.

[Fawkes]

The Elemental's head is swimming from the cacophony of shouting from the crowd, mouth and throat coated with sweet iron and liquid fury. He sits up slowly, joints clicking as he rocks a bit; the ground heaving from the rush of vertigo.

Hands twitch on the asphalt, itching for other things to break as the Glamour colours his focus.

Origins sorry for the vague response, wasn't sure what Circe was going to do exactly.

Panting heavily, Phoenyx watches Fawkes stagger up.

She moves slowly over to him, pulling him up. There's a murderous look in her eye as she hisses quietly in his ear. "Don't you dare do that again. I'm not a fucking idiot. I know you let me out. I'd rather lose with honour than win that way. And I know everyone around here wouldn't like knowing that either."

Without waiting for a response Phoenyx lets go of his top, turns on a heel and stalks out of the impromptu ring and out of the docks.

Unless anyone stops her, Phoenyx leaves the scene.

Circe walks into the ring to kneel beside Faweks, "Oi. Ya need a hand up bro or did she make ya an offer that is leavin' ya floored?" Regardless of what he says, his fellow Summer does try to help him out of the ring by getting his right arm around her shoulders. Circe was no amazon but as long as Fawkes wasn't dead weight she should be able to help him move.

"I think ya earned a cold beer with extra ice. Enough extra ta fill a bag or two. And hey," now she was being very loud, "At least she didn't go fer the groin."

The mannequin blinks slowly as he's suddenly being lifted, reacting in a passive manner as he stands, a distant memory guiding him of a fellow soldier pulling them to safety under fire.

Then reality snaps him back into the present with a jeering crowd and a woman's voice hissing at him while another is talking about ice. He's at a smoker, he was fighting; his face leaking bloody red sand.

Someone was grabbing him.

His limbs lock, squeezing the woman's shoulder too sharp for comfort as the initial instinct to attack boils over. His shell was already cracking like feathered goose-flesh, to cut into her as the Armour sings. The heat of her Mantle brushes him with familiarity.

"Circe, I think I'm drunk," he warns, slurred. His vision dances, jaw clenching as he chuckles with a bubble of rage screaming for him to put her to the pavement.

"Grk!" and Fawkes had a really tight grip, "Loosen up, we same Court," she warns her comrade. Dropping him was something she'd rather not do but she also liked her shoulder intact. Maybe get him talking, "I'd say yer a combo of punch and liquid. Good job but the chivalry kept ya from a win, up in the air if that got ya ta bein' a good knight." She technically already had a knight but Circe saw no reason not to make a pun, despite her concern for Fawkes.

irce guides Fawkes over to wherever the bar is and waves to the server, "2 colas, 2 bags a' ice. Maybe more," the caffeine might help Fawkes straighten his head. After giving that order, Circe will try to find Fawkes a place to sit.
