Urgent Call to Momma Claws

Lucifer and Rhodes had had just enough time to stop by Funderland before running their respective errands, and as luck would have it, Lucifer had found someone who might be able to help. They had traded phone numbers, and now...

The phone began to ring next to the Shadowed Beauty's ear...

Would the newcomer pick up?

[Freya]

Freya glanced at her phone as she lounged on her bed. Yesterday had been grocery day. And bill day. And a group of house members had needed to make a 'quick' trip to the mall, which became an all day affair. She wasn't particularly tired, of course, but had been enjoying doing fuck all today. Still, with a small eye roll thinking it might be another content creator trying to call her to set something up (instead of calling the producer like they were supposed to!), the beast picked up the phone and checked the caller ID. Nope. It was the Fairest.

Answering the call, she raised the phone to her ear.
"Hey, Luci..."

[Lucifer]

"When we met today, I noticed just how sharp your teeth were. Tell me, are you willing to use those teeth? If a family were being stalked by Them, would you risk putting them to use?"

The autumn courtier's voice seemed to echo through the phone lines, a discordant melody carried across the vast gulf of the air between them.

"Autumn has an errand that it needs help with. Will you help us Fetch something?"

[Freya]

A mother's greatest task is to protect.

The thought rang in Freya's ear as the Shadowed beauty spoke of stalking. Savage maternal instinct came so naturally to her now. Was it the effets of the Durance or the Desire to nuture that propelled her so? Freya shook her head of the thought, it was probably a little of both.

"Time and place, Luci. That's all I need."

There was a purpose in her voice with lingering caution. Violence was assured, but would her Talons allow her to endure?

[Lucifer]

Lucifer smiled into her phone, barbed teeth bared next to the microphone that carried her words through the ether.

"Meet at <<address>> when the Witching Hour strikes. And don't forget to make the police report. It's such a shame that your car was stolen. Make sure to call in the report before you meet us."

Freya understood, the police would be the first she would ring. Once she was done here.

"I understand and thank you for the reminder. With everything that's gone on today, I nearly forgot."

With that, she hung up the phone, dialing the police to make the report after rummaging through her records for her van's info. It seemed the Freehold had need of it for a darker purpose.

Good to close the call! I'll post tonight if the scene starts!
