(Escape Room) Olympus Treasure

[Xadun]

Emily watched as Clara tries fitting the head on the shoulders, then is impressed as Wolfgang nimbly fits the bits together. "Say, you're a dab hand at that stuff..."

As the whole statue of Zeus comes together, Emily stay out the way, sidling off to recover Clara's discarded whip for the spear. As Wolfgang fits the last pasts together, Winter watching and Mabel and Clara handing over their finds, Emily cracks the whip, grinning maniacally. "I'm starting to see the appeal old Indy had of this..."

Too close for comfort. Too many layers for satisfaction. The group helped put the old man back together and Clara made a side glance towards the wizened Wolfgang's animated sounds. "Relax," she'd give him a light bump with her hip just as he finished. "Somehow you're making a group of strangers solving a puzzle sound dirty."

The next area opened up and Clara was running to the new room before the doors had fully opened. She paused at Blue, took off the leather hat she had been wearing, and slapped it on the other girl's head. Clara's red fez still sat nestled between her now not-quite bird's nest of a hairdo. "They belong together," she explained before sprinting into the treasure room.

This next room felt like the anticipation of a reward. Sure not nearly as big as she'd have liked, but this was the chance to stick it to the one person Clara had ever been jealous of. Scrooge McDuck eat your heart out.

[Mable Wood]

Mable felt like they were putting humpty-dumpty together again. When the door opened she squealed, "Yeeeeees!" She wadded into the room full of treasures. Clara looked gob-smacked at all the shiny things. So, Mable looked around and found some stairs which she hoped would get her closer to the top of the statue on the pillar. Once upstairs she saw the keys. One was an oak tree so she grabbed that one and yelled down stairs, "There are keys up here." The excitement and energy of the others were all going to Mable's head. She felt so hyper and giddy.

Emily scrunches up her face as the hat is squashed on her head. "Uh, sure," she says. chuckling. Sooo cute, but mad as a box of frogs....

She follows the other girls into the next room, looking around at the items of wealth. "Woah.... this is some nice props." She admires her reflection in one particularly shiny vase.

"Keys?" Emily calls up the stairs. "You got any locks?"

[Winter]

The skeptic in him wouldn't let him enjoy the victory, if his experience with the Mysteries was of any indication, this had been too easy.

"Be careful", he soon regretted that, for he was being unnecessarily paranoid. He followed the rest of the group, careful to not miss the important details of the treasure room.

The blur of a woman's form on her phone came into focus after some concentration. Clara took a handful of selfies lounging on the treasure when she heard overhead some commotion over keys. She then uploaded the photos to Instagram as she climbed the stairs and found the keys with several different symbols on them.

She'd try to make sense of it and check to see if the room itself had any hints to the nature of the keys. "Anybody see anything? 'Cause I don't."

Clara joins her up stairs. Mable whispers, "This is fun." and gives her a quick wink. "There are three key holes above the keys." Mable yells down to Emily and the rest of the group.

Mable then helps Emily search the room. "Here, use this flashlight."

Ugh, she was taking selfies. He had to be extra precautious, lest his image be broadcast all over the ether.


"3 keys, six keyholes. I guess we must pick by association with the guy", he gestures toward the statue. "The Lightning Bolt is the easiest".

"Careful?" Emily asks Winter. "Hey, we're here for fun - it's not going to be dangerous. Hell, if it is, I got your back," She gives him a broad reassuring smile, and heads towards the stairs. Hell, I'm more dangerous than anything you'll ever see.

"Hmmm..." Emily thinks. She moves up the stairs with Mabel looking down on the room, casting an eye over Clara's lounging form and chewing her lip lightly. Very nice. Maybe I should take a shot.

She goes up to the keys, and collects them all. "There is a lightning bolt!" the werewolf calls down, walking back to the others. "They all got symbols on." Emily holds the keys out. "Say, wasn't there a legend where Zeus turned himself into a bull? To, like, nail some chick?"
