(Escape Room) Olympus Treasure

As the group made their way further into the room, and their eyes adjusted to the reduced light around them, their environment became all the more clear. To the right of the room stood a small fountain of water adorned with beautiful ships and monsters at sea. Further in, at the back left corner of the room, sat a grand display of Greek pots.

Lying upon the tray were what could only be described as metal puzzle pieces, with a circular space above it that appeared large enough to house the pieces.

As Mable felt around the display, other than the circular opening, she felt dust that was covering an etching of ships sailing over the waves of the Mediterranean Sea.

As Clara made her way around the room, something strange stood out to her. Among the pile of rubble was something...off. Something that didn't come from the ceiling.

As she made her way back around, her and Wolfgang examined the spears and it became clear that one of them could in fact be removed from the sentry's hand. The tip of the spear though was shaped strangely, almost like a key.

Feeling the pieces beneath his fingers, he decided to be productive and add some value other than being his brooding self. Slowly but surely he began meshing the tiles together, and finally Zeus, the God of thunder, reclaimed his throne, towering over them from the display.

As the last piece was pressed into place the display shifted and turned as the top opened to reveal cogs and gears within. Mechanisms twisted and cranked until finally, from within the display itself, the bottom portion of a statue rose up to fill the empty space on top. As of now, the statue was incomplete.

Emily flicks on the torch to help Winter piece the jigsaw together in the dim light. Watching the bottom part of the statue pop out, Emily looks around for the rest of the statue.

"Err.... what now? Shouldn't there be a full statue?"

"Shit." Mable jumps back when the base opens. She looks at the part of the statue that is there for Greek words to guide them.

Clara wasn't paying attention to the statue. Now that she found a removable spear, she would pull it in hand and wrest it from the sentry's grip. The whip was already secondary to this discovery!

He studied the statue for a few seconds, mumbling something unintelligible. "Maybe fit a spear in that socket?" He asked, he didn't really know.

As Winter observed the relation of the spear to the statute itself, he realized there was a small opening in the base that looked like it matched. Should Clara follow his suggestion, the tip of the spear would slide ever so perfectly into the opening, like a key entering a lock. A twist and a turn and POP the side of the statue fell off to reveal an opening that contained a smaller spear that appeared to match the statue sitting on the display.

The room has a fountain, a pile of rubble, some pots, the pillars, the statues, and the center display. Feel free to describe investigating any of these locations for clues. Remember: When in doubt, roll some dice!

Watching Clara use the spear, Emily takes the small statuesque spear out of the larger statue and began fitting the bits together.

"Hmm. I wonder if more bits should fit on this...." Emily wonders aloud. She looks around for anywhere other parts might fit, but doesn't spot anything.

Mable hears Emily mention other bits fitting. She decides to look in the various pots for other pieces. "I'm going to check the pots..." She tells anyone listening.
