Symbols and Keys. Further pieces to an ancient puzzle. As Mable and Winter look around from both the floor and the top of the stairs they notice something very peculiar. On the floor, several thick golden lines were drawn. But even from the top of the stairs the purpose of the lines was uncertain, at least as long as the gold and jewels covered where the lines went.
Clarification: There are 6 keys, 3 keyholes and they are all located on the lower section of the center pillar. None of the keys are located at the top of the stairs, but you can see the lines from the top of the stairs.
From the top of the balcony he motioned to the ones below, "try to wipe the floor from all this...", Crap? Rubble? Cheap made in China plastic trash? "there's something underneath the junk"
"Hmmmm no I'm here. Just got distracted by something on the wall!" Wolfgang trots into the room behind everyone else. "Hmmmmmm! Six keys, three locks. That's..." He counts on his fingers for a moment while he does the math. "Well jeeze that's like two hundred plus combinations. Lemme look at those keys."
Wolfgang figured that the Keys that fit into the locks would have less, or at least different, wear and tear than ones that didn't, even if people just tried to brute force them by jamming them into the locks at random.

Clara stifled the urge to challenge Mable. Being closer to her was a shock that stirred her the shadow that accompanied her during her nights. When she leaned in close to whisper, Clara offered a smile in return. "M'yeah! And Baron von Badguy hasn't even shown up yet!" Whether Mable was genuinely that cheerful was something Clara couldn't decide on.
The keys were gathered and Clara took a moment to chime in, "I only know the one where he turned into light to sleep with one chick. But a bull sounds like it'd be a better story." She shrugged. She looked over and saw Lucien was calling for help finding something on the floor. Clara leaned over the railing next to him and asked, "Find something?!" As she glanced excitedly down in the general direction he was motioning towards.

"Something is written on the floor", he stepped to the side, so that the girl could have a better view, "see".

Thanks to the directions from the others, Emily spots the threads leading to the keyholes. She grabs a candle-stand from nearby and begins using it to push the treasure out of the way of the threads, trying to uncover the ones that lead to the keyholes.
"Hey, one of you guys give me a hand, wouldja? I'm not just hired muscle here," she jokes.
The group, minus Wolfgang, stood by waiting for the treasure to magically move itself. Luckily, Emily decided to take the initiative and grabbed a candle stand to shift the piles to the side, exposing the symbols underneath. From up on the platform Mable, Clara, and Winter could clearly see three symbols written in a circle on the floor in golden paint: an Eagle, a Lightning Bolt, and an Oak Tree. But what order did they go in?
Meanwhile, Wolfgang's eyes, keener than most, carefully observed that two keys each seem to match, at least somewhat, to each keyhole: the Oak Tree and the Scepter appeared to fit the first lock. The Eagle and the Bull appeared to fit the second lock. And the Lightning bolt and the Shield appeared to fit the third lock. Now it was just a matter of which keys actually went in each keyhole, and what would happen once the matching keys were turned.
