"Nicenicenicenicenice..." Wolfgang mutters as everyone starts poking around the room and trying different things. For his part, once Clara takes possession of the spear, he squats down to examine the fountain and the pillars both, he was a Artist himself, and he doubted that the people who put this room together could hold a candle to his own skill when it came to clever tricks...

Can Wolfgang make a Skill Based Perception roll using wits + crafts to look for things built in such a way that they can hide secret panels or hidden cavities large enough to hide the pieces necessary to make the statue?

Hidden by the Mask, the others can't see his talons tap and pluck at the surface available to him, because they only see human fingers on a human hand. Blinded by a far tighter grip on sanity than he, the others probably don't hear the way the room whispers to Wolfgang, or the way the plaster and wood giggle under his skillful hands.

Clara hadn't noticed the socket. It was only Lucien's suggestion that forced her to focus on something that wasn't the next pretty/interesting object. "Ah, yeah, okay!" Her voice sounded jovial enough, but there was a bit of a pained expression as she fit the spear in and surrendered it to the statue's tumblers.

She adopted a bored expression as she casually took in her surroundings once more. Maybe she'd find something cooler.

Emily had the right idea about the statue, but unfortunately the solution to that puzzle eluded her. For now. Maybe she just needed more pieces to help form a more complete picture.

Mable on the other hand was having trouble looking through all the pots. Maybe there was something in the room, or that they had been given, that could help shine a light on the situation.

Wolfgang's eyes were more trained than most when it came to materials and crafts, and that gave him a leg up in his investigation. As his hands ran along the edges and sides of the fountain two things stood out plainly to him: one of the tiles under his fingers felt loose, and on the floor below that tile was something like a drain.

Clara made a second pass around the room and while her demeanor was casual, this time her eyes were far more focused. She took a simple step and a strange flash crossed her view. It was coming from the pile of rubble in the corner. Retracing that last step revealed that the light from the ceiling was reflecting off of an object within the pile. An object that appeared to be made of something other than the stone of the surrounding pile.

Satisfied with the performance of the group and his contribution, he decided to continue attacking the puzzle that was the display. His hand trailed over the rims, trying to ascertain whether anything was amiss, inspecting the frame for anything odd.

He glanced over his shoulder, the girl looked bored. "Solve another hard puzzle and I'll let you drive", heh, she couldn't be a worse driver than Camille.

Mable sticks the dictionary into her back pocket and turns on the flashlight that came with the dictionary. She shines the light into the vases. "I don't know why I didn't do this before."

"What? That hardly seems fair," Emily grins at Winter as she strolls over to the others. "Well, I've not got much. The statue doesn't look quite right, as if it's missing more parts, but I can't tell what those bits might be or how they fit. Anyone else find anything or got any ideas?"

Shiny! Clara didn't know if she always had ADHD or if she was just playing this up for the group. Best not to think about it. She skipped over to the rubble and fished out the strange object that caught her eye.

"Wait, someone else gets to drive? Why doesn't anyone trust me with their car?" She hadn't looked up and was focused on whatever this new piece was. Maybe the kleptomaniac would get to keep this next one.

Wolfgang makes various hmmmm sounds as he looks at the water and considers things. "Found a drain, you think we need to put water inside anything before we drain this? Those pots maybe? There might be an elemental kind of thing? We've got earth with the rubble, water with the fountain, fire with the torches?" He moves over to the pots, examining them to see if maybe there's some kind of pressure sensor under them, or if there's any clues on them.
