To start with he's just following what he could see or extrapolate of their course. If need be, he will break out the spells later, but first he wants to get away from the Park, knowing the Racs seem to be able to sense mages, and probably spellcasting.
Orphan drives for a couple of miles, heading into a near deserted warehouse district. Ahead about a half mile, through the rain, he sees a yellow vehicle-shape, which seems to be be stopped.
Orphan drives a bit closer, then stops and takes a moment to activate The Sybil's Sight, wanting to use Mage Sight to see if there's any magical presence around the vehicle.
Unable to get a read on things at this range, Orphan decides to move forward, but first he takes a few moments to get himself back into fighting shape.
Dropping Incognito Presence, Orphan considers his options - all potentially painful - and decides to scour his Health for Mana. Next, he mutters in High Speech while attempting to heal the injuries he'd sustained earlier, at the Bell Building. He manages to heal the earlier injuries, though the damage done by his scouring isn't touched by his spell.
Next he decides that in case more trouble arises, he needs to improve his odds, and calls upon Fate to bestow Exceptional Luck upon him.
Taking a few moments to call upon Quantum Flux, Orphan looks at the route between where he's at now and where the car is up ahead, then studies the situation to see if he can identify an approach that will get him closer without being seen.
Orphan ends up with 1 point of Resistant Lethal Damage. He had 1 Mana before scouring, gained 3, then spent one for Self-Healing and one for Exceptional Luck, ending at 2 Mana. Active spells are listed in updated signature.
Orphan spends 3 turns to use Quantum Flux to try to see through the weather and so forth so he can try to get a read of the terrain with Survival (Battlefield Analysis), with the hopes that between that and Winds of Chance, he might be able to get closer to take a look while remaining unseen (i.e., a bonus to Stealth, if relevant), or at least being hard to see.
Orphan eases forward, using mailboxes and parked cars shield his progress, until he's close enough to see that the street looks deserted aside from the FJ.
Orphan uses his senses, both mundane and the Sybil's sight, to see what he sees, looking for some sign what has happened to the others, and using mage sight to try to determine if there is magic at work, and particularly whether some Fateful event might have come to pass or be about to come to pass here.
"The car's here, but I don't see anyone... this doesn't look good," he thinks to himself.
Looking closer, Orphan makes out several shapes on the ground that don't look like parts of the FJ Cruiser. One of the shapes has ripples of Fate around it, as if the Destiny surrounding it has been altered.
