    Orphan's options were limited. Tug was simply too strong, and had too good a grip, for him to have any but the slimmest of odds of escaping.

    Fortunately, he could sometimes beat the odds.

    He makes himself instantly aware of the best options for using his leverage to best advantage and selects among them.... but to no avail.

    Unfortunately, this was not one of the times he managed to beat the odds.

    Knowing something just was not right about this reality, he thinks "Maybe this is all some bad shared dream or something."

    Tug snickers at the little man's flailing as he drag him to the edge of the building...

    ...and throws him off.

    Need to roll that Chance Die for 'dox on Glimpsing...

    Orphan can roll STR+Brawl-8 to maintain a grip on Tug -and- roll a Chance Die to grab the roof ledge.

    Orphan grabs desperately for a hold on something... on Tug, on the edge of the roof...

    uh oh...


    ... but grabs only air.

    This most definitely was not one of those times when Orphan managed to beat the odds.

    Since the fall isn't going to be terminal velocity, a) does Mage Armor subtract from damage, and b) can Orphan try an Athletics check to try to reduce damage by making sure to not land on his head or something like that?

    Tug turns around grinning at the other Mages as Orphan goes flying off the roof.

    Grinning like he scored a touchdown.

    Shadow and Errant are UP.

    Orphan take 1B, thanks to his Armor; Orphan is Prone.


    Orphan lands with a thud in the soft, muddy grass. If it weren't for the dozens of ractains and fleshies around him, he might think he was lucky.

    Shadow whispers to Spade. "Going to get Henry. Be ready for something coming up the stairs." She gives him an odd wink, then rushes back out the door and tries to get a hold of what's left of Henry. Not leaving a packmate out with the scavengers...wouldn't be proper.

    "What, now?" hisses Errant as Shadow leaves. They were losing people way too fast. He pops another shot at Tug, hoping to at least take care of the more immediate concern.

    Although the shot is a glancing one, it adds to the other trickles of blood running freely from the large Thyrsus.

    Spade was skipped again. I simply acted as if Spade held action till the end of last round,(Tug at -1 def for Errant's Pop Shot) then first turn next round (Tug at full 3 def) First dox roll will push Spade into -1 one wound modifier. One Willpower spent each individual turn. No mana cost. I like this spell. All that for one Bashing. But I have only worse options.


    Spadewatches in stunned horror as Tug simply drags Orphan to the edge of the roof and drops him. Then the bastard leers at them. Earrant fires, Spade does too with blast of pure energy. The Abyss strikes Spade for his Vulgairty, but Spade rides the pain and unleashes a second blast Tug has to duck away from.

    Henry, Orphan, who would die next? Spade willed it to be Tug himself. But his will was already fading.
    This was just too much.
    Celestrial Fire X 2 One bashing.

    My bad dude I must keep looking at the same faulty init post =/

    First: DEF is not lowered by Firearms attacks, so your first roll was actually at -3 DEF, placing you at a Chance Die. You may re-roll it if you'd like -- since it's a Chance Die with WP, you might as well roll the straight Chance and save the WP.
