Spade follows Orphan and his gun toting posse, clutching his backpack of food supplies. He ends up right behind Orphan. "I'm your food pack .we can move as our own group. the others below are good supply wise." Once up on the roof Spade moves out of the way of everyone then looks up to spot the Diving thing against the roiling clouds. Using his Sight to determine it's Magic call make up if he can.
Scrutiny
Spade looks around desperately for the diving thing but doesn't see it.

The Roof
The roof access is not the code-standard one of today's buildings -- rather, a trap door with a sheer vertical ladder leading to it. Opening the trap door, Spade climbs out, immediately getting soaked by the oily rain. Looking up... he can see what Animus warned him of...
...it's a raptor, diving straight down at the roof. Contrails of inky darkness trail behind it, like a negative image of a jet in the sky.
It will take Dodger one hour to cast Portal...

Range 50M, Size 2, so -3 for that, and I'll go with -3 for rain + odd angle + disorienting background (sky with no visual 'markers' for depth perception)... so -6 for the shotgun or an Aimed spell...

Orphan snaps the shotgun up toward the onrushing thing, hoping his aiming will help the others see the target. With the visibility and the range, it's a longshot, but hey, maybe he'd get lucky. Then they'd see whether firearms even hurt this thing.

The RoofEveryone on the roof (besides Orphan) can take one more Action/post,
then everyone should roll Initiative.
Errant catches a glimpse of Orphan's mark. "What the..." is as far as he gets before he snaps his pistol up, trying to draw a bead on the bird. He didn't have a chance of hitting it at this distance, but he could try to keep it in his sights as it got closer.

Spade spots the Raptor thing and tries to study it, but the rain blurs His Vision. With a curse eh readies himself to doge out of the things way should it attack.
