Ishani sits in front of the computer in the shared haven. Oliviette sits next to her. She is typing away, trying to find the Horizon's network and once she finds that she will look for a backdoor or a possible crack in the security.

Oliviette had suggested using Asa's setup since it was the best they currently had. It was a rather nice one too. State of the art and the best money could buy. Ishani galnces back at her own small laptop and thinks about asking Asa for a loan. If she was going to get serious about this computer business, she would need better equipment.

"All right, here we go." She mutters, having found the site she is looking for. "This would be a whole lot easier if Bethem hadn't eaten Icarus, but I guess we'll just have to make do with what we have."

Per consult w/ West, Asa's system has multiple stations hooked into the same system, so teamwork mechanics will work fine.

Since Ishani is less skilled with computers than is Olivette, Olivette will be the primary actor in this, assuming you are going with the teamwork thing. Thus, Ishani will roll Int + Computer + 5 (Equipment) if they have two high-caliber machines. Ishani's successes are added to Olivette's roll, which is also Int + Comp + 5.

Olivette types away at the workstation. For a moment, she smiles, and she says "I'm getting in." Then suddenly her screen freezes for a moment, and in the next couple seconds it is partially covered with overlapping windows, the first asking for a password, the second following perhaps a half second later, bright orange with WARNING written in big, bold letters, along with a notation that continued efforts may result in irreperable damage to your computer system.

"That is not good," she mumbles.

Olivette realizes that it is likely that the attempt to penetrate Horizon's security has been noticed, either by a system administrator or by some sort of anti-intrusion software, and that in all likelihood her system has or is about to come under attack.

Olivette calmly reaches over and shuts off the router.

With the computers disconnected from the internet, Olivette prevents Horizon's counterattack from penetrating the system.

She and Ishani realize that launching a cyberattack against Horizon is, in its own way, going to be as daunting a task as launching a conventional one.
