"I don't know what the touch of the Supernal will do, here," Avis breathed, drawing her phone-which became a bow-and then a quiver appeared upon her belt.

"But I intend to find out."

And with that, a glyph began to form in the distance, symbols splintering into existence like a spiderweb of shattering glass not thirty feet from the dark silhouette.

It was like watching a car crash, a train wreck, horrifying but you just couldn't look away. Tuesday hadn't even realized when her hand moved to cover her mouth as she watched Strix...

She shakes her head, to refocus. There could be time to mourn later. And now, the unicorn's doubly glad that Avis let her and Faye glimpse Space, even if this fractured, disjointed world was making her nauseous.

"Okay." Tuesday nods, knowing that there wasn't anything she could just say that would make the First Talon stop and let someone else test out their spells. If Tuesday called to Fate....that would be another story, but doing so would bring the touch of the Supernal here, and Tuesday could just see the circular paradox forming.

"Faye, stay close." she didn't want to see the Shaman suffer the same Fate as the Moros.

Ok, so Avis not being really sure about the touch of supernatural will do was a little disconcerting. But how would that effect her spells? There would probably come a time within the next few minutes where they would find out. But, cross that bridge when and if it comes.

Cause it was Avis, and she trusted the Warlocks skills when it came to things like this. Though that was one hell of a shot, and did her phone just turn into a bow?! Damn, girl had some skills.

Seeing what happened to Strix had her not second guessing that Tuesday said. Though it kinda makes her wonder if she was going to be able to do anything aside from trying to heal any damage that might happen. Well there was some nasty Life spells she had to inflict pain, and if i came to it, she would cast them. But her main focus was keeping Avis and Tuesday alive, and she would do everything in her power to do it.

She nods her head, "Yeah, after seeing what just happened, don't have to tell me twice."

Avis suddenly appears next to Cunanan and sees glasses obscuring bushy eyebrows on an otherwise bland face. He's dressed in the khakis and an oxford that are the the TARDIS of fashion, existing throughout time and space.

Shadows deepen and pull towards him like spilled molasses dripping off a counter edge; thick, sticky blackness pooling around him.

A crimson glyph spirals into being, flickering in shades of love and hate as it thins and elongates into spikes. Fired at each of the women, crimson hooks spear into their Minds, twisting and warping their thoughts...

...finding the idea of defeating him with magic, and spiking it deep into the feeling of triumph and success.

The sudden surge of hate and mania that rushed through Avis eclipsed everything besides her desire to see Cunanan lying torn and bloody on the ground, his entrails spilling from him, his face a pulped mass of torn flesh, and so she reached out a furious spike of her own, a jagged glyph that tried to merge the sunglasses with Cunanan's head.

Those oil slick crimson hooks try to get their ickyness into her head, but Tuesday's one lucky unicorn, so those hooks find nothing to hook into.

Which doesn't mean that Tuesday doesn't have a mind of her own, because she totally dose. It's just that she can apparently keep it away from icky mind hooks. So Yay.

But Avis is next to their baddie, and a jagged grey glyph forms.

Clearly it was go time.

A Fate-blue Glyph sparks to life, clear and precise, wrapping around Tuesday. Stained-glass butterflies flutter and shatter as the Unicorn tries to run her ass into the action. While, you know. Avoiding the Holes in Reality. Since those were totally Bad Things

Fucking mind mages! Screams Faye in her mind as she feels the hooks try and sink into her brain.

Not today asshole! She screams at the hooks, putting everything into repelling those nasty things. Her mind...no one elses!

That done, she sees Avis already engaged with the guy, and Tuesday on the move. Well, she wouldn't be far behind the Acanthus, wanting to get to Avis to try and buff her skills. That being said, she calls out to Life to buff one of her skills before moving. Feeling the now familiar tingle in her fingers she knew it heard her. Feeling her stamina harden and grow.

Cunanan shrieks.

Flesh and bone is suddenly transposed with metal and glass. Bone shards dripping with blood and tissue ran down his face and glass and metal were fused into and around his eye sockets. Whatever came to pass, he'd be unable to hide in a crowd ever again.

Black iciness tugs at Tuesday and Faye's weaves, like a wave crashing over the side of a boat. Sudden and inexplicable, the Abyss' claws drag at their spells.

The same blackness spills out from Cunanan as another crimson glyph is formed and split to strike at Avis and Tuesday...

For Avis, it is the moments between being taken from her bed and first seeing her parents under the moon. The moments of sheer terror before her mind started to fracture by the horror that followed. The safety of childhood and invincibility of her parents, suddenly shattered.

Tuesday's moments also came from childhood; but from within, rather than without. The sound of Marcus Flynn's voice thundering in their home, and the cold fist of fear wondering where his rage would be directed. No matter where she ran, it followed; through his hands, through the cries of her mother.

I'll need one more dice rolled from Faye for Paradox. Adding 1 to Tuesday's roll converts it from Chance to Standard and the result would remain the same.

Cunanan has cast Psychic Violation on Avis and Tuesday. Roll Composure + Gnosis versus 3 Successes or lose 1 Willpower and be frozen in fear for one turn.

Avis is up!

Avis' roared incoherently in rage, spittle flying from her mouth, her eyes bloodshot as she felt Cunanan try to sink another burning glyph into mind. For a moment it took hold, for a moment she was transported back to that pinacle of terror, but the thing was, that was a pinnacle she had never left. And so, as she shrugged his perverted touch from her mind, she summoned up a flock of her own nightmares and threw them back in Cunanan's face...

If he failes

...yet, even as she screamed, even as she felt her will pull from the Realm of Nightmares, she felt the fangs of the acamoth sink into her, and a terrible bruise began to spread up her neck, crawling along her veins like a putrid vine...
