The Circle is a large, imposing building of Gothic Architecture. It is an almost perfect replica of Westminster, but no one ever notices. Sleeper eyes slide over the ruins of what used to be, and only Awakened eyes can pierce the subtle occultation.
Sanctuary Scenes
The Circle is, and has always been, the cradle of Sacramento's Awakened. Only every now and then comes the flicker of a hotel or museum else-when.
Stone walls are a tapestry of history; here, a bullet hole gouge. There, a scorch mark. A dead patch of grass or three in the training yard. Echoing halls that have hosted merriment and arguments. Within these walls each Order has their secrets and privacy -- and yet there is plenty of room to wander and run into others.
Using this as the end-point for Bastille
History books will say the Bastille fell just before noon. There was no second parley, and the crowd reached a fever-pitch that could not be doused.
With hundreds of Sleeping minds consumed by hate and rebelling against authority, the Obelisk itself began to unravel. Disbelief, magnified, and enough to destroy an greater object of power.
In the end, by desperation and luck, the Wise of Sacramento did what they were Meant to do, and find themselves returned to the Circle exhausted and half dead.
To answer the Faye Question: Everyone who went on Bastille will remember her as an Acanthus. Everyone who did not (except for herself) will only have known her as a Thyrsus .
