Priscus Regan returns, and Roman's eyes move from Nell to the Priscus. "Nothing serious, I hope?" Roman asks with a tremor in his voice. His eyes shift back and forth from Nell to the Priscus. "Have I caught you at a bad time? If you require any assistance, please don't hesitate to ask," Roman adds with a smile.

She stood rigid, arms by her side, fingers flexing and curling. From the stance it was clear to tell she was ready to act to protect not only the Prince and his Domain, but her Priscus as well.
Oh how she would love to extend her claws and end someones Requim for the disruption of this Court. One doesn't idly stand by and fire guns here.....not without one hell of a good reason.
“Stay with me,” the Shadow Priscus says in clipped tones to Silver, Grosvenor, and (when she joins) Cooper. No attention is paid to Grosvernor's odd assurances: it should be plenty obvious to the new arrival that something most certainly serious is going on.

Goodness. What kind of threat did the two whispering vampires from earlier pose that the Reeve and Hound and Senechal (as well as assorted hangers on) needed back up from the Prince and Prisci? If he wasn't trying to keep from drawing attention to himself, he'd be rubbing his manicured hands together in excitement.
And how big was the Reeve's office? It must be huge for so many to pile in and still have room for gunfire.

At David'd words Nell takes a breath and stills. Cursing herself that she still knew not how to cloak herself, never mind hiding her Beast, if things where about to spiral out of control.
