Alice had just left. Cross had been ordered to leave long ago. Garrick was already in the the office. That left only two others.

" Mr. Greenberg ; Mr. Carrigan ," the worm's hiss called to the newest Clan member and the wallflower, ordering them to action. Right now the Prince needed to be protected if the violence spilled out into the Elysium. Implications that Asa couldn't protect himself be damned. He no doubt could but Gilroy wasn't going to be the one caught not making an effort.

"Orders, Majesty," he said half way between a question and a request, as he once again approached the largest Beast in the room, like a mongrel whimpering to be allowed to do a trick. Even now, his willingness to serve caused nothing but bile to rise. Though his cringing and hunched stance had subtly changed. His twinging was now the coiling of a snake ready to strike at a threat, a scorpion's tail twitching and posed to envenom a target.

The worm's eyes darted from the Prince to the Reeve's office. It held Twist, Katya, Josephine, and Garrick. It was very likely they could handle themselves. There was always a way for things to go wrong, though. Someone could frenzy. This could be a signal for a larger attack. Gilroy's head jerked towards the stairs as if expecting a wave of predators to come scrambling down them. Then back to the leader of the Domain. With or without Clarke's word, the Nosferatu Priscus was ready to fall on the first viable target because there was one more thing that could go wrong. They were surrounded by predators. One of them could decide now was a good opportunity for assassination.

Asa looked at David Regan with curiosity; curiosity, the only evidence of the surprise he felt at the thought of...

Something distasteful tickled at his senses with words. His lips parted, ready to tell Gilroy to seal the exits. But instead, he simply nodded to each Prisci in acknowledgment of their efforts and priorities. Some might call it expected, but it was still admirable -- given both men could simply vanish. Yet it was Elysium, his Elysium as he'd just reminded Martha -- and the only surety of an Elysium's safety was his word.

Which reversed their roles. Their safety, all of theirs, was Asa's responsibility.

"Tend your families," he answered. He was in motion before he'd finished speaking, moving to the Reeve's office. Tend to theirs?

And he would tend to his.

Louis had remained for the simple reason of being nosy. He wanted to know how the side drama with the whispering vampires would play out because that sort of thing was interesting to him, it also had the potential to reveal a great deal of how the court functioned to a new arrival.

But primarily it was because he was a nosy little shit.

So the gunshots made him blink and step back in surprise. He also seemed to be at loose ends, with the Prince's declaration of Prisci needing to tend to their families in this crisis while his was attending to the matter at hand. As a precaution, he does move out of the way, so when the door opens he won't be in the line of fire.

There wasn't a whole lot of point in being a gossip if you get perforated by lead while getting the details. Well, unless it was exceptionally juicy gossip.

“Evacuate everyone to the Necropolis,” he ordered (yes ordered) Joseph and Jack with a screech. That was all the tending his family should need. They'd have to flee to the club topside to get reliable signal but Jack had the phone numbers to contact all the Haunts. If they included other Clans' members so much the better. New as he was, Greenberg would likely take charge if Marlon and Gilroy met final death in the next few minutes. The worm couldn’t imagine a situation where this could escalate to such a state that the hidden underground might become threatened, but should worse come to worse the Clan would live.

Kenneth knew what he was worth. Forced to take up the leadership role because there were no other options; most of his maintenance of the kingdom went towards a chamber only he could use anyway. The family could survive without him. The Clan would continue without his guidance, so long as someone besides him survived. If that wasn’t the case, why he had founded the Necropolis? They were already doomed.

Commands given, the worm scrambled to keep up with Clarke. Orders complete, he still had a responsibility to defend the his leader.

Sorry for getting ahead of myself but situation kind of needs it.

The distant cry of manic laughter is only a prelude to the following sound of muffled shotgun fire. Konrad tenses, remembering the Bloodhunt from his first night at Elysium. But he's not a newcomer anymore. This place is in part a home to Konrad so he resists his urge to run off.

The Prince's command reminds Konrad of his priorities. Brittany's already left for the night, which leaves Caleb, Ale, and the Seneschal, who Konrad has a sneaking suspicion is still in the Reeve's Office.

"Caleb, take off. Ale, you're with me," he says, turning back around to the conversation he's just left. With an act of violence taking place, someone would need to back up the Prince in case an enemy had made him a target.

David looks towards the sound of the shot, confusion and surprise showing clearly. A gunshot, in Court? What by Eris' laughter is going on?

He sees his priscus' beckon, heads towards @David Reagan. His eyes sweep for his fellow acolytes, but they have departed in the confusion. Hopefully the priscus can explain whats going on.
