The Wasp ringing Summer's Sentry

[Coco]

The call had been long overdue, though there was nothing that that fact did to ease the tension which had crept into the space between Coco's shoulder blades. For the fifth in half as many minutes the Wasp shifted her position upon her sofa and began to dial a number into her phone once she'd settled into something resembling comfort.

The digital machine noise which filtered into her ear as the phone rang certainly didn't help, and the Wasp had to remind herself not to clench her teeth through the smile she'd fixed in place.

The phone chirps and shakes, jolting Ramona out of her world of fire and metal and solid beats of the hammer. She lowers the manual of ancient blacksmithing techniques into her lap, cross legged on the ratty old armchair that is her most significant piece of furniture in an otherwise spartan living room. The number is a new one on her, but it's local. Probably not a telemarketer then, or a scammer. Or family. She flips open the cheap prepaid device, "Who's this?" She asks, setting the tone of the exchange immediately. If an unknown caller is on Ramona's phone, she's getting information before giving any out.

[Coco]

There was a fleeting moment of silence as Coco unbaited her breath, releasing the prefabricated thousand watt reply.

"Ramona!" the Wasp's voice trumpeted from the smith's pre-paid speakers. "It's Coco! I having something important to discuss with you, but I was hoping to do so in person. Would you perchance be open to speaking over coffee or tea?"

In truth, the Wasp wasn't fond of either beverage, at least not without a much more appropriate drink added to them, but they were benign enough for her purposes.

The ogress winces as the high-volume enthusiasm of the claviger assails her, drawing the phone away from her ear for a moment and glancing down at it. She still catches every word, even as she brings the device towards her again. Something important? If it was security-related or otherwise urgent, Coco would've made that clear. Hmm, Coco wants to meet with her. "Uhhh, where?" Perhaps not her most intellectual or dignified response, but it will serve to gather the necessary informatin.

[Coco]

"There's a decent cafe on K street, Cafe Bernardo, that I think would be suitable for you," Coco replied, heedless of how unflattering that statement truly sounded.

"Shall we meet their today? Say around three? I'll make sure to arrive early and secure us a booth. Simply look for...no, nevermind, you'll notice it when you arrive."

It was tempting to ruin the surprise, to add a little incentive for the Sentry to speak with her, but then what good would it be as a surprise, after all?

Her brows knit. Suitable for me, huh? As distinguished from whom? Probably another one of the wasp's barbs, meant to sting. "Fine. Three." She could just hang up now, and considers it for a moment, before asking "Anything else?" In a clipped tone.

[Coco]

"Simply that I look forward to seeing you!" Coco replied, popping upright on her couch. "Until then! Take care."

With that the Wasp cut the line. There were preparations to be made.
