"No," she replied simply. "Fugit inreparabile tempus. So go. Your course has already been set. All that is left is for your feet to carry you there."

With that, the flesh structure known as Josephine turned towards Katya.

"You have come to this play in the middle of its act, Portia. Ask whatever questions you may, so that you might no longer languish in ignorance. I shall ask those which you have not."

Chin dips in acceptance of Josephine's reply, “In furias ignem que.” David gathers up his materials and maps and takes a moment to offer a deep, deferential bow, “Good evening.”

From there, David leaves the Asylum; taking the same staff channels as he did when he arrived.

With her body frozen, Katya's eyes wander and follow David as he gathers his belongings and makes his leave. "A pleasant evening to you." she says to him before he departs.

Her eyes then meet Josephine's, giving her only a nod of acknowledgment of her instructions before turning her attention to the thrall. With arms folded and a finger tapping her forearm, Katya recalls all that was shared to her in the car ride with David and what she learned tonight before forming her first question. It wouldn't be the last, but given that htis thrall belonged to someone else, it was best not to waste time with unnecessary questions.

"Besides the ones who brought you here this evening, have any others visited the haven you guarded during your tenure? If so, give descriptions, names and approximate dates as to who paid visits that you would have seen."

Gilroy smiled just a little at Katya's diplomatic description of what amounted to the head of the Circle storming out of his post. It faded on hearing the foreign language. Latin was already on the list though. He recognized the 'time flies' words but didn't understand the context or grammar change.

"I'll contact Mr. Marlon to see if he will be able to assist," Gilroy said quietly as he stood into a hunch. His back cracked uncomfortably. It sounded like the interrogation would take a while. He glanced at the man. Kenneth suspected by morning he'd be dead or drooling. He turned and scuttled away from those thoughts unless anyone had any more need of the worm.
