The room had been set up with seven chairs placed at the long table in the center of the meeting room of Nox. No sign or symbol gave any indication of an assigned seat as Katya wanted to make this meeting seem as egalitarian as possible. Being that she and the Reeve were of the same covenant, she knew that it would be impossible to ignore all thoughts of any concern for a bias but she could at least try.
Considering the formal nature of business, Katya donned a white button up business shirt and a black pinstripe business jacket over matching pants. She kept the jacket buttoned up tight but then had the top button of her shirt undone to give it a business casual look, which for Katya, was more business formal given her preferred style of dress. Her hair was kept in braids but was tied up in a bun to keep them from dangling in her face. She wasn’t sure what to expect from the Prisci or the Reeve but figured rearranging the chairs and table to make sure it was a symmetrical as possible wouldn’t placate the anxiousness she felt in wanting it to go well.
Closing her eyes, Katya clears her mind and tells herself that whatever happens happens and that any negative things that can occur are just a natural evolution of things and that all she can do is learn from them. With that in mind, she opens her eyes and stands behind one of the chairs as she waits for the others to arrive.
