"We still don't know where the other guy went. He could be out here waiting for us to enter walk into the spider's web," Juan cautioned. "She's burned the bunker before. What's to stop her from doing it again? Or worse?"
The Toreador tapped his headset, "I'll stay here and alert you if I see anything." It wasn't as glamarous as fighting but, it was necessary to avoid an ambush on their way out.

If she was to say she was surprised by Juans decision to stay outside, she'd be lying. Not everyone was cut out for a fight, and something tells her the Daeva wasn't one to get his hands dirty. But she couldn't deny he had a point. If their target HAD burned the bunker before, she very well could do it again. So goal was to take her down as swiftly as possible, preferably without fire. She shrugs and looks to Konrad,
"Sounds like a plan." she hoped it went without saying that she had his back.

Hildegarde bobbed her head, indicating that she understood. Taking a position behind Ale, she waited for Konrad to lead the way.

...and Konrad walks smack into the door.
Unsurprisingly, it appears locked.
It's fair to say the mystery of the disappearing guard has been solved.
Konrad squints and shakes his head after he gives the door a knock with his face. "Hrm. Depth perception," he offers as a cryptic excuse. Finally he tries the handle and finds it unlocked. He opens the steel door to gaze inside and enters unless he sees some other obstacle within.

I am an idiot *facepalm* I will take more time to read through each post more carefully.
Konrad inspects the locked steel door. "It's locked," he says unceremoniously. Being a steel door Konrad isn't confident that they can break through the barrier without difficulty. He examines the door to see if the door contains a keyhole or if it appears that the door is barred from the other side.
Without a word further, the Daeva stepped alongside the outer edge of the bunker's entrance. He hid himself amongst the shadows and darkness of the forest, watching for any movement.

She looks to Konrad, "Any way we can get it open?" she asks, doubting she would be able to shot it open. But one would think with their combined strength, that maybe they could pull it open.
But the night wasn't going to last forever, they needed a plan B, and the quicker the better.
