A quick clap was heard. Juan slapped his face with his palm. Shaking his head back and forth, he was losing his temper. "That's just going to make the door really fucking hot and one of us will flip the fuck out if we're not careful." He cast a glance behind as Konrad walked off. "We're wasting our goddamn time here. Let's take the stooge and get out while it's good."
Without a word further, he followed Konrad to the incapacitated Kine. "Is he any good to us?"

The body is still. No rise and fall of the chest or sound is made. Everything this person was, slowly seeped out into the grass. The previously scorched earth is damp and dark with blood that was pumped out through gunshot wounds over the past several minutes.
Even with the smell of blood in the air, the beast within each recoils slightly at the thought of dead blood.

The noisome thing under her mind mewed. Hildegarde clamped down in it, hard.
"Well, we could at least put a dent in this wooden wall. The next time we come, this place will be completely fortified. How much more resources do we want to put into rousting out this... interloper. She has already claimed at least one Priscus, a Regent and a brace of Dragons."
The Lord stood her ground.

Standing, she shakes her head. "Well what do you suggest?" she asks the Lord. "Putting a dent in a wall is all fine and dandy, but there is no proof that it won't be fixed the next time we are here. Or that they wouldn't have moved." there are ways to transport Kindred during the day after all. "Unless someone has a brilliant idea how to get into that bunker, we are out of luck right now. Clearly coming in loud was a bad move," she can admit when something was wrong. "What we need to do is think a couple steps ahead of her. And arguing here over dead cattle with the sun approaching is getting us absolutely fucking no where." if she hurt any feelings, she didn't care. "We weren't prepared, plain and simple so round one goes to her. We underestimated our enemy and need to regroup and come in with more fire power and a way to get into that damn bunker." she hissed with anger and frustration. "Now, if there are no ideas, I say we head back and regroup." her eyes look to Konrad.

"He's dead, Jim," says Konrad to Juan, having assessed the dead Kine.
It sounds to Konrad that Alessandra has just about had it with the situation, but Konrad hears more reason in her argument than he has from anyone else tonight. "You nailed it on the head there, Ale. Alright, let's head back. We cut our losses now and make a go of it another time. Might see if I can procure a cutting torch or something for the door. Hand me the moltovs. I'm going to toss em on the wall. Take the rest of the equipment back and I'll catch up with you. I'd rather we don't all lose it when it goes up in flames. If I'm not back in twenty then tell my Ghoul to drive you where you need to go."
He's roughed it before in the wilderness. He just has to keep his head together when the flames comes. He digs through his camo pants in search of his lighter and lines up the moltovs on the ground in front of him once they're handed over. He'll wait for the others to get far enough away before he starts tossing them.
Cordoba's harshness eased as Ale protested. "The voice of reason," he whispered with controlled cheer. "Thank you Ale," his eyes shifted to Konrad, "Do you have a phone to call us in case it goes bad?"
The Daeva looked to the Ventrue, with a nod of his head, he attempted to coax her along, "Let's go, you'll have your revenge soon enough. You can rip her to pieces like a child does to an insect's wings. I won't stop you. Let's just leave right the hell now."

Fangs were bared as the frustration swelled around her.
Hildegarde swore, her command of English slipping, and her native German rolling thick and harsh from her tongue. For once the Man and the Beast were in accord; but for once it was the Beast that urged her to follow the others. The summer night was old and the only thing that would await her is destruction if she lingered.
The Lord followed meekly in a seething aura of frustrated anger.
