On December 24th, Asp receives a Djembe and a dvd, along with the following note:

I don't know if you're still up for that band idea, but just in case, here's something I think you would like. You get to hit it, so, ya know, it won't be boring to play. Start working on those polyrhythms. I hear they're important for this kind of drum. The DVD should get you started, if you want to learn. If not, the music store will probably take it back.

The djembe
