Nonetheless, Konrad stiffens for a moment with the memory of the bloodhunt some months ago and wonders if there might be a repeat showing.
Hoping to cover his discomfort, Konrad attempts to make light of the incident among his present company. "Sounds like they're not wasting any time putting the Reeve to work," he says with an attempt at good-humor.
