Sweet! Aspect ruleZ!

What does Heightened Sense do mechanically?
Is it mostly fluff with just "The Storyteller may allow the player to add her character’s Auspex dots to a surprise roll." and "This power allows a vampire to see in pitch-black darkness."
This is another one of those gems. I know in the past I have added Auspex dots to Investigation rolls to find X,Y, or Z...but it seems to support that those things may be auto without need for a roll. Not really sure if there is anything to it.
Whisper, it is at STs discretion. Some things might be auto-detected. Like ordinary people need to roll perception to spot a blot of blood on a wall in the darkness but with Heightened sense of smell you just smell it.
It it's not something as specific, Auspex dots can be added to Perception and/or investigation dots at ST's discretion. Basically, it depends on how much actually depends on the senses and not the mind.
How will these changes affect Unflinching Eye? Is it still in game? Are the requirements going to drop to just Resilience 1?
Whisper
It's hard to quantify, because the environment plays a huge part. If you're eavesdropping on someone, for example, are you in a club with loud noises all around? Or are you at the other end of an alley in the dead of night? It's just really hard to make a blanket statement.
Mykel
The requirements will remain. I know it does't make sense in the fluff, but Reasons and Reasons.
Random question because someone might as well ask /state now: Occultation does (not) add to resistance to new!AUS1?
Yes, Occultation will penalize Auspex 1 just as it does Auspex 2!
Alright, this is something that I should have thought of before but that I just realized.
Now that everyone has Heightened Senses, do they still need Auspex to initiate a Clash of Wills with Obfuscate?
Also, it kinda renders Obtenebration 1 (Night Sight) irrelevant. Is that still the same?
