    Since Myrah was heading toward the Avalon, go ahead and move things forward and darksider can respond later.

    Those wishing to just get out of the way can Dodge (double defense) while still taking a movement action, or can take two movement actions. Those who spent the past turn heading to the Avalon need only make one more movement action to get there, while those who took actions need at least two more movements to get there.

    The creatures are all around the mass of kindred, moving to attack. Those focused on getting away have to move past or around them.

    Asa watched the rain, and felt a pang of sadness.

    Is this it, then? Is this our dreaming metaphor of what we face? An ever-growing enemy all around us, with no end in sight? The same handful of us there always seem to be, with a few more, defending a city, and population, that could care less?

    "Fall back and hold the doors and stairs," Asa instructed the combatants, in the strong voice of a Lord. "The rest of you, start waking up!"

    Asa retreated to Avalon, his movement a quicksilver blur. None would fall safeguarding his retreat.

    Use 1WP to use Celerity, which should put him at Avalon. If the speaking didn't count as his Action, then use two Moves and no Celerity...

    Dr. Lazarus did not intend to stay and fight these horrific things again. He had the misfortune of feeling them before, and no one but him knew the pain and suffering they could (and would!) inflict. Feeling trapped was a feeling he was all too used to; the days being trained under Doctor Brawn was enough -- Lazarus would not be subject to entrapment again especially inside his own dreams.

    "Remember, do not let them come into physical contact with you! If you must make contact do so with clothing, they will take the path of least resistance to your heart!"

    The doctor did his best to follow in Prince Clarke's wake to the Avalon, but he was not gifted with the blood-gift of celerity. As he ran toward the circle barricade of worm-beasts, Lazarus recalled the effective attack made on Robert Bridgewater to make him unravel.

    Hopefully it worked now...

    Lazarus spends 1WP (1 Vitae normally) to use Eye of the Beast on the worm-beast that would be closest to blocking his direct path to Avalon behind Clarke.

    The Prince moves with both purpose and blinding speed, darting around the creatures and finding his way to the Avalon.

    Dr. Lazarus's use of Nightmare turns out to be tremendously effective.... the creature targeted loses humanoid form and falls into a loose mound of worms, which start immediately to crawl directly away from the terrifying Doctor.

    Mariel held both hands under her belly, and ran as best she could for the Avalon. She lingered just inside the door, ready to activate her blood scourge if necessary.

    Initiative Roster:

    Myrah * Asa * Dr. Lazarus * O-Yama * Headstrong * Markos * Worm-Things * Ishani * Sean * Regina * Jayant * Joseph * Karen * Eleanor * Ronald * Wilhelm * Obsidian * Mariel * Arnold * Michael

    Worm-Things:
    Defense = 2
    Armor = 4 vs. all physical attacks, 6 vs. firearms, arrows and the like. These creatures are formed of wriggling masses of worms and don't really have organs, or even a defined form, so it's hard for most attacks to do a lot to them. Attacks that normally bypass or nullify armor do not function in this case.
    Speed = 10

    I'm blind as O-Yama missing eye, didn't see the init roster, sorry, if someone could delete my previous post that would be great

    O-Yama moves towards the doors of the Avalon, sword ready to strike at any of these worm abominations that trespasses in his path to the club. He moves with a purpose, dodging any blows that may strike out at him, but otherwise waits to begin fighting proper.

    "Move! Fall back!" He shouts as he rushes back to the Avalon.

    With surprising, even alarming speed, her stone body heads for Avalon. It is more bouncing, every stride a jump forward, than actual walking and Headstrong isn't nearly fast enough to make it to Avalon as quickly as the rest but at least she wasn't stuck with lumbering to an fro.

    Headstrong moves her Speed (12) towards Avalon and Dodges.

    Markos decided to follow the Samurai. If he is going, so am I. He activates his blood power and dashes toward the Avalon's doors.
