Dreams, Dark and Dire 3

[O-Yama]

O-Yama growls harshly as the worms are ripped out of his flesh over and over by the blind Nosferatu Dirge, and the beautiful Ishani. "Milady Ishani, Dirge, Prince Clarke, I am sorry, I feel my time here is long since past... I feel the call to awaken."

He looks past the two women fidgetting at his flesh, pain-stricken whispers issuing from the wounds in his flesh, to Prince Clarke's words. Oracle Shadow has returned... get those worms off youself.... His eyes go wide and a small smile crosses his face. "Milord, tell her I will see her soon." He says.

The fingers of Dirge, and Ishani, are still digging through his flesh frantically as he begins to fade from the dreamscape plane of existence, and the last thing they see of him, before he is gone completely, is him as they know him, whole, untortured, and with just the hint of a smile.

Farewell friend, Jayant thinks as O-Yama fades. Turning his attention back to the dream, he grimaces at the thought of the samurai's peril and the frustration he must be suffering.

[Headstrong]

Headstrong, somewhat thrown off by the darkness, now required her sight to pierce the gloom. While looking for the Worm-Things already strange outlines she demands her stone frame to restore itself. Then she sees something approaching an opening. Compensating for the time differential she makes an unsure jab with the spear. Now with far more restraint as she is unsure she can even hit the Worms.

Headstrong rolls 3 to Str+Wea+Eqpmnt-2def-4armor-1darkness-2reach (10 Again) 6, 7, 9 = 1 success

Headstrong spends 1WP to heal

Asa nodded in confirmation of O-Yama's request, and watched him fade away.

Will two names be enough?

Putting some willpower into it, Markos is able to force himself from the dreamscape into normal daysleep.

Two of the creatures lash around in the darkness at Arnold, and one strikes.

Jayant is attacked by two creatures as well, and again one of them manages to strike him a blow.

The one Headstrong struck lashes a limb back at her, missing.

Konstantin watches the fight, snarling as the creatures continue to strike telling blows against the vampires and as he sees Headstrong fading, but waits to see what develops.

Arnold takes 1 damage, +3 from those worms already on and burrowed into him, total 4 Bashing.
Jayant takes 1 Bashing
Headstrong continues to take 4 Bashing per turn from the worms on her.
Regina takes 1 more Bashing from the worms burrowed into her.

Arnold is taking a beating on the front line. He uses some of his remaining willpower to heal some of the wounds inflicted by the monsters, even as the worms continue to burrow into his flesh. He strikes out again with the sword.

In contrast, Sean's use of Nightmare continues to drive away the creatures, as yet another reels back and flees the Avalon.

Time to switch up again. Ishani decides, moving to the front of the line again and motioning for Arnold to fall back and get himself de-wormed.

"Headstrong, fall back and get those things removed. Someone take her place!" Ishani yells as she makes her way up to Arnold.
