Inside his head, Angelo is weirdly calm in all the chaos. Outside it's a running stream of whispered swearing that's largely lost in the sounds of the conflict. Angelo closes in on the melee and reaches down to help unstick Jose's leg from whatever has it trapped. He's still filming, but he's not going to risk someone getting killed just for a wide angle panorama of the throw down.
Seryna, what should I roll to help get Jose free?
If this thing was made of solid stone, his bullets would do no good, but if it were just armor. If he could hurt it....
Eli had no better option at this point than to use his sidearm for what it was made for. Witches, monsters, demons, they were all the same. They killed and consumed until they were put down. This thing, whatever it was, had to go down.
"BACK AWAY!"
Eli leveled his gun at the creature, and squeezed the trigger.

Rory was going to need some Ben-Gay. His wrists and arms felt as if they'd been trying to stop a car. Whatever it was, it was strong. Big teeth, and strong. That was Not Good.
Getting shot at almost made him jump. Granted, he wasn't being shot at directly, but he sure was close enough to get nervous. Problem was, that seemed to be the only thing they'd done that had any effect.
He sure wasn't going to punch a rock with his hand. Where was a bar stool when you needed one?
When the thing bit into Tal, he started caring a whole lot less about Jose.
Problem was, he still didn't have many options.
"Right, then. Come here, bastard."

Tal feels something hot and sticky on her hand an instant after she makes the stab. Blood from the beast washes over the hilt of the knife. She has wounded the beast!
The stench of decay and rot blasted Tal in the face as the beast made its decision. Its mammoth head swung over and snapped at her. Her training allowed her to block its attempt for the meaty flesh of her shoulder, but the teeth sank into the upper portion of her left arm. Those teeth ground like boulders for a moment with a crushing pain before it was forced to release. A fleeting thought of if it could grind bone... and the lack of bones around this kill site. Blood trickles from a bite site the size of her pinkie finger. The bite was small compared to its mouth... like it had been going after tearing off a nice, bite sized chunk and had been distracted by Rory's attack.
Tal's damage
"No, no!" Jose protests as Olivia grabs for his weapon.
"It has me!"
As Angelo attempts to help Jose get up, he realizes that there is strong resistance holding Jose in place. As he tugs at Jose, he realizes that something is tethering Jose's leg to the ground. After some serious pulling, Jose's leg slips free.
"Thankyou," Jose says emotionally to Angelo, placing a hand on Angelo's free hand. "I thought that it was going to finish me off."
He turns to Olivia. "Thank you for coming to me." The man is breathing heaviliy, but appears to be calming down now that he is free. "I thought that it was going to mash me up like it did that guy..."
Jose glances to Eli, remembering the partial remains Eli took responsibility for. Seeing Eli's stance and hearing the gun shot, Jose focuses at the beast. Eli's shot has pierced the beast's left shoulder. A red wound the size of a cherry now mars the beast's perfect camouflage. Jose accounts for Rory's proximity and the shot goes wide. Chrissy darts in under Rory's arm. Her knife slashes quickly with the precision of a surgeon, cutting under Eli's wound.

Rory settled into a boxer's stance, one fist flying out to smash into the thing, followed by a short jab before he moves away.
Rory moves his full SPD 12 after his Action to attempt to get out of retaliation range.

As Rory's fist smashes into the beast a second time, he feels something beneath his fingers crack. A rib bone, most likely, judging from its' position. Then the golem teetered unsteadily and fell backwards. As the golem did so, it gave sharp bark of pain. The creature hits the ground with enough weight to rock Rory, Chrissy, Angelo, Jose and Tal; causing them to become unsteady on their feet. Tal screamed at the Thing through her teeth as it tore into her arm, fear as well as pain prompting the cry. She'd seen what was left of the Thing's victims and for a split second she was sure she'd lose the arm. But before it could rend her bones and spill more blood Rory stepped in, planting a rib crushing blow and a sharp jab that dropped the Beast. Adrenaline still coursing through her limbs, Tal's eye's stayed fixed on the creature as it fell, and once she saw it was vulnerable she fell onto it, her knife slashing at it's neck and then stabbing for where a human's heart would be. She wasn't looking to maim or desecrate the body, or vent her rage, fear, or pain. Her movements were too matter of fact, automatic, and efficient for that. She was just making sure that the man-killer stayed down.
