(1401) Eternal Court XXVIII

Asa left the trio he approached, eyes moving around the Court.

So many unfamiliar faces; so many familiar faces gone. It felt like the Lost Nights. The litany of names of those come and gone was getting too long to recite with ease. It was his own doing -- they had neither departed or arrived en masse, and the nights turned into weeks and months as time slowly compressed.

So many Shadows.

It was a presumption, based on the lack of Beasts and deformities among the newer faces.

Now curious, his steps took him to the dark giant.

"Good evening," Asa greeted Arnold Culler Beej .

Court has lasted just over a month so far. We'll be looking to close all extant Court posts by the end of Feb and open a new one mid-March.

Martha has an announcement to make at the end of this Court to set the scene for the next.

While the Prince and Arnold Culler were talking, Aοleen looked at the Office where the Herald and the Reeve had entered. Alas that she hadn't managed to talk with the tall Gangrel... it would have to wait another night, another Court perhaps. Or she would have to make an appointment. Regardless, she had no more purpose here, and the Mekhet now only waited for a proper exit time.

Martha has hobbled back to Court and makes a point of circulating and chatting with many of the gathered Kindred as possible.

As the evening draws to a close she can reflect on another Incident at Court and ponders the nature of the next one...

But, as the evening is about to end she makes a gesture to signal to the Kindred gathered that she has an announcement to make. Swirling her cloak in a dramatic fashion she takes a position on a dais to make her speech clear and obvious;

"Lords...Ladies...gentlemen..." she began carefully, nodding to the Prince and the rest of the Court first, "...As Herald to His Grace, I crave your attentions for a just a moment. Firstly, I wish to thank you all for attending Court this evening. I hope it was profitable."

"Secondly, it is the wish of His Grace, the Alder Duke of this Metropolitan Domain, that each Clan of this Domain shall make their local Priscus known to him, in person, at the next Court."

"Court shall be held later in March 2014 and details of this shall be posted in each of the local Elysian Fields. His Grace wishes it known that these declarations of each Priscus will likely co-ordinate with a further announcement to be made at His Grace's pleasure." she lowered her hands and her cloak followed this motion.

She nodded gracefully to @Asa and remained standing on the dais for a moment before gathering her cane and making her way to bid a gentle and sweet good evening to all those departing the Court for their own Haven's.
