Fu looks down then away at Connor's question. "Didn't feel like it, couldn't get the juices going after the first fight." His rumbling voices reveals he's disappointed in himself.
Fu looks down then away at Connor's question. "Didn't feel like it, couldn't get the juices going after the first fight." His rumbling voices reveals he's disappointed in himself.
You didn't..... What the hell kind of answer is that?!"
"You don't stop fighting just because you don't feel like it. Just because it's Fall doesn't mean we just slink away. Hell we don't do that in Winter. What's up?" Fu obviously needed to get back in touch with his rage. Maybe Connor could nip at his heels a little, get him to turn and charge rather than run. They were hunterhearts, not sheep.
"Heh its not an answer..." ~need to find something that will piss me off....~ Connor is right Wrath does not yield to the changing seasons.
The bell rings, and Tug nearly leaps from his corner in his rush to cement his place as victor of the brawling tournament. He swings at his opponent's midsection, exerting the last of his mental fortitude in the process, and letting Fate's hand guide his heavy fist.
A solid punch, but not enough to knock the wind out of Justin, as the big Thyrsus had hoped. He braces himself for the counterattack...
Justin 4/8 Health
Justin takes a swing at the moving blur. He actually connects, but feels his knuckles crack against what feels like steel. What the fuck...?
The blow glances off Tug's supernal shell even as Tug's fist arcs around to deliver another body blow.
Still not enough to knock the wind out of Justin, the Thyrsus prepares for his next strike.
Justin 5/8 Health
The second crack knocks Justin a half a step back, but he only sees red, with Fenris guiding his blows.
Damn, Tug felt that one. No time to waste, he's gotta put Justin down. That big fist comes around again...
Tug Wins
Tug smiles as his last strike connects solidly, and Justin is forced to take a knee. Allowing his shell-flesh to return to normal, he reaches out to offer his opponent a hand up, even as the referee is calling the match.
Justin is furious. Inside, he is beating himself senseless. One of the Herd! One of the people im supposed to PROTECT?!? What the hell! He looks up at the hand offered, and thinks. Could he accept this surrender? He sure as hell did before, to the others that he knocked senseless. This wasnt that bad. He takes the hand and stands back up.
"Good fight, guy," he whispers. "The prize money is yours if you want it. I just wanted to fight." He laughs, his intensity fading as victory is his. Then he turns from Justin and holds up one fist. "YEAH!"
Mechanics
Justin gets out of the ring, letting Tug revel in his glory. Well, atleast im going to be getting first and second place winnings....Adam will like that. He approaches Wall Scratcher, still obviously incredibly pissed off. Infact, he is almost fuming.
"Wall Scratcher, even though i lost, that Tug guy is going to be giving me his first place winnings. I still would rather have won....but we still got what we need to. We are one step closer to having his business up and running."
Tug walks out of the ring grinning like he's just won the Super Bowl...well, almost that much. Beating up tough guys with Supernal assistance isn't quite the way he pictured himself winning, but, hell, it felt good. He walks over to Orphan and Tam and gives his fellow Arrow a high-five. "Nothin' to it, boss."

Nightfall thanks people for coming, and pays the winners and runners-up their prize money. Overall, he seems thrilled at the turnout, and the prospect of new students. Then again, he also looks like he's slowly realizing he probably can't train everyone by himself.
It's also probably fairly clear by now to anyone that he and Twist aren't on a first blind date.
"Great night," Vincent says to no-one in particular as he starts to dissemble his camera and pack it away in its protective case. He couldn't wait to get home and start to go through them, picking the best shots to accompany the piece already forming in is mind. Making sure he hasn't forgotten anything, the Cahalith leaves.
Sully leaves after saying goodbye to his sister and mister Moustafa, heading for a shower and some ice for the bruises.
Mateo puts an arm around Sofia, and then the other around Jessi. One way or another, this was gonna be a very good night...
