Rubick nodded and confirmed Vae's description, and turned to Dash, "That's correct. You'd be amazed at what people build. I've seen crazy contraptions on Modern Marvels."
Speaking of which I should get back into that... A scene of a steampunk toy helicopter enhanced with a bit of Arcana chasing Dash around was enough to make him grin. "Yes, very strange and unique devices."

Vaeltia in her moment of exasperation noticed the elder man watching them, if only for a moment.
Unfortunately that put her on edge a little, but such was the way things went, especially in the Water... It was her people who were getting shot at. Even if they weren’t hers.
“Don’t like Steampunk either?” she asked the man ( Rawlins ) before realizing he was getting into his books. “Oh, sorry.”
Dash shrugged. "To each their own I guess." He glanced over at the old man that Vae was addressing. Wonder if he gets a senior citizen discount?
He turned his attention back to Rubick. "What kinda devices?"

"Eh? Oh. Err... Don't know that much about it, myself. What is it? Like science fiction? Asimov?" Rawlins looked up.
"Well Dash..." Rubick was all-too-eager to display his passion for the cult-craft. He pulled out his smartphone and entered "steampunk devices" on Google. He held the screen out to Dash as he spoke, "Most of what you'll see is cosmetic overlays on existing devices, as seen here."
"Some folks craft machines that actually work," He scrolled down and pointed to the steampunk version of R2-D2, "This just pumps out steam." He said it as if it was nothing more than commenting on the weather, "If you really wanted to have some fun, you can add some extra oomph to it and launch tennis balls out of it." The Acanthus sounded as if he had some experience with that.
He paused when he reached the clock, "I'd like to build this one day. It's even more awesome with the lights out. It's such a beautiful thing, isn't it?"

“Just put some gears on it and call it steampunk....” Vaeltia sang low as she sat down across from the old man.
Although she didn’t recognize the name that the man had said she shrugged. “Maybe, it’s not my scene. Alt Histories just get under my skin a little. Some things aren’t meant to be changed.”

“Hopefully flying cars, though I’m not sure if I’d let anyone have a license considering the sheer amount of crap that has to be dealt with when the drivers have to keep four wheels on the asphalt.”
Of course the two males were getting all in depth in their image sharing.
“Steampunk porn.” she mumbled, after all that was what they were sharing. At least from one person’s perspective.
Dash is speechless.
"That shit is crazy dude." He raises an eyebrow at V.
"Sorry, but that's not my kinda porn." He winks at the Obrimos and flashes a goofy grin. "Chicks and chainmail though...
Rubick rolled his eyes at Vae's mention of his hobby being porn. "So we've gone from books, to craftsmanship, and now porn." Noticing the exchange between the Arrows, the Acanthus smirks, as the opportunity was too tempting to pass up, "I had figured whips and chains excited you."
