Bandit snorts after the three leave, it seemed that Doc Marcus didn't like the truth. The man just keeps harping on that attempted theft, keeps bringing it up pretty much at every meeting they have. If the man wouldn't shut the fuck up over it, then why not just fucking report him? Turn over that video? Criminal, sure, but I'm not hiding evidence of attempted felony theft even if I did give it a try. I admitted to trying to steal the cell phone, what more could he fucking want? I ain't taking the wrap for that Grey woman though, didn't see anything odd happen beyond hearing dreams of Egypt.

Bandit turns to Marietta, writing, You want the story about that particular event? More then willing to discuss it with the new hunter in town. I wonder why he can't get it through his fucking head that trying to make me feel indebted over the fact I ain't in jail or prison reassuring? He's like a dog with a bone, he is.

Marietta had absorbed herself in her food when the arguing started, and by the time her mouth was no longer full she had heard enough to know she wanted no part of this fight. It wasn't entirely clear to her why people were so freaked out over a sketchpad, but she knew Hunters were a paranoid bunch. Everyone had their own idiosyncracies, and if it had been her, she would have just let it lie. Still, everything seemed to be escalating very quickly.

As the others left, Marietta waved her goodbyes. At least none of them seemed upset with her. She had worried briefly that working with Bandit would leave her tarnished by association, and had briefly considered making a stand with the others--but that wouldn't have been fair. Bandit hadn't wronged her in any way. She was resolved to stay out of things until it became her business.

"Sure, I'll take a look," she said to Bandit, once she had read what he wrote. "Bandit...you might want to be careful. Hunters need friends, and this is only our second time down here. It's awfully early to be burning bridges."

True, but they aren't really bothered with the warm welcome. Bandits writes and then flips to another page and holding it the right way, writes down the events of the night he met both, Grey and the good doctor.

I was in a park when I spotted her on the ground. A reporter was also there and upon looking around, I found a matchbox with a logo for a bar called The Viper. I sketched the logo and was around as the reporter asked the Ms Grey questions, turned out she had a case of memory loss. The reporter and I were invited to ride to the hospital with her, which we did. Once at the hospital, the reporter vanished, leaving me alone. Then the good doctor got called and I waited for the examination to be done.

While waiting, I headed into the cafeteria, over heard a pair of thugs searching for a woman, my guess at the time was Ms Grey. I followed them until they split up, found the younger one at a child's ward, they were using their cell phones to keep in touch and I wanted to know what kind of conversation they were having, so I though, stupidly now, to lift the cell. I failed but the camera caught the attempt. The younger guy got escorted out due to how loud he was on his phone. I left for find the other one.

Found him near the room where Ms Grey was. He didn't do much and left. It was later that I learnt about the tape, I only made one other visit with Ms Grey that proved to be my last. I decided to take a look at the Viper after the good doctor and I had a 'discussion' about the evidence concerning my attempted felony theft. My time at the Viper proved slightly informative and puzzling.

I heard mention of a warehouse that they wanted Ms Grey to be taken to for a Sunday 'meeting'. I reported to the good doctor about the warehouse meeting before visiting the warehouse district. On checking out a warehouse, I found that crate, did my best to destroy it, and took the teeth. I took the teeth to the good doctor and, well, you heard what he said about them.

Upon finishing that, he hands the note pad over for her to read. He could be pissed that I wasn't around much when M... Grey was in the hospital and showing off her in-humanness or he could just be coupling his hate towards Grey to me due to meeting me with her... He muses, but he didn't see any reason to stick around her room, the hospital had security guards to keep her safe and he hadn't any reason to think she was connected with Blake beyond him wanting her so he can make her disappear.

Marietta took a minute or so to read what Bandit had written--she was a quick reader, so it didn't take too long. Looking at Bandit, she frowned.

"It sounds like this Ms. Grey has some connection to our case...probably as a potential victim. I hope we find out what happened to her before they...do anything." Mariettta felt a little squeamish, remembering that whoever they were after had no problems trading in organs. If this Grey woman was a victim, then something terrible could easily have happened to her.

"Anyways," she said, "It doesn't really sound like you did anything wrong. I mean, maybe you were a little bit careless? But nothing too dangerous." Looking at the now emptied bar, she frowned. "Verdad, they seemed a bit more pissed than they should have, but I think that was mostly because you kept drawing them. Hunters value their privacy, no?" She shrugged. "It's none of my business, but you might want to make sure you don't spend too long in their bad graces."

Bandit nods in agreement, he flips to the page that has that sketch and rips it out, making a fist, he then rips it into smaller portions. He then writes, on a clean page, Makes you wonder if they were just being territorial or something., the others I mean. Anyway, it's getting kind of late.
