Marietta pulled up to the warehouses a bit warily. The excitement of finding other Hunters and getting such a good lead early on had worn off, now she had to be cautious. At least one other Hunter had already died from this, and Marietta had no intention of becoming a second. Or letting Bandit become a third, for that matter.
Part of her questioned the wisdom of trusting a man she knew so poorly to Hunt with her, but she didn't have a lot of other options. He was the one who had already found some of what she was looking for, after all. And he seemed trustworthy enough, though it was surprisingly hard to read people through their handwriting.
Parking on the side of the street, Marietta got out to lean against it. Her new revolver was in a holster under her jacket--it was an older piece, one she had just finished touching up. She would have liked to have her shotgun, but didn't want to attract that kind of attention just yet. The permit for the handgun was in her pocket. Putting her hands inside her jacket for warmth, Marietta waited for @Bandit.
