    -1 Glamour for Hardened Mask

The Fairest lawyer sits at the bar of the Four Seasons, a vodka and seven sitting before him. He's relaxing, his features serene as he reads over a report in a file idly and generally ignores the words. He was done for tonight. Listening quietly to the music and finishing his drink, he smiled at Sam and said, "Mind if I get another, mate?"

The ensorcelled bartender, as always, was happy to oblige. The bar wasn't packed, but it had enough of a crowd. Still, there were enough tables for people who wanted them.

As diCarto's drink was placed before him, he tipped generously and returned to his reading, wondering if anybody else would be out tonight to enjoy the tunes and a drink...

It's a typical night at the Seasons. C'mon down!

Rook was settled at the piano, a light, simple tune floating through the air as he played. It wasn't exactly his best performance, though it wasn't horrible - it was just that when he got distracted, some of the heart slipped from his playing, making it technically correct, but a little... distant.

The Metalflesh found it frustrating when he had bad days, but it was inevitable. And most of Autumn had been a bad day against his nature.

Since the flare of the Wyrd had intensified, he was having bad days more often. He should probably look into that...

The light tune flowed from his fingers, but Rook could hear that it was simply okay, and he frowned slightly behind his mirrored sunglasses.

He strove for perfect. That much, at least, was perpetually true. But for an Elemental, it was nearly impossible to meet it. It frustrated the man who could still remember how he had played before.

diCarto turned slightly in his seat, deciding it was time to call it and closing his file for the night. He enjoyed Rook's barroom playing just fine, and he hadn't yet had the chance to speak with the Elemental just yet tonight. Sipping his drink as the Red Victor played his song, he raised his glass to Rook when his song finished, a combination signal of greetings and a salute to the pianist.

He decided to stand up and head over between songs, holding his fresh cocktail in his hand. "How are you, Rook? A pleasure to finally get out and see you play," he said with a flash of a genuine smile. Perry'd been talking about coming to see Summer's siege weapon play for ages. He was glad to have found time to do so.

Terri's Mask is that of a petite, cute woman with vibrant red hair that has black streaks throughout. Obviously athletic, her natural demeanour is friendly and she always tends to have a smile on her face.

Her fae mien is akin to a red squirrel. She has a long bushy tail and ear tufts that poke through her hair. The black streaks are actually black feathers the are a part of her mien now,; a part of her noble order.

Terri's powerful Mantle initiates itself as the smell of baking bread but brings with it the feeling of the Harvest, that time to take stock of the coming troubles.

Wearing a sleek black dress, Terri was set to have a few drinks and let her hair down in the safest place she knew; the Four Seasons hotel. Entering the bar to hear Rook playing behind the piano, he waved towards the Elemental before gliding to sit next to Perry, offering the Fairest a warm smile.

"Evening Perry," she said, ordering a Red Bull and Vodka from Sam. "All alone on a Saturday night too, huh?" Sure there was a slight bitterness in her voice but there was no need to constantly be all emo about her position. She still had to ensure her face was seen out and about, and smiling.

The new Spring in town thought she’d pay a trip to the Four Seasons. Sauntering her way into the establishment in a sexy little burgundy number, perfect for a little adventure. Her exotic floral aroma could perhaps be detected by other changelings around. The Fairest Nightsinger was indeed stunning.

Her dazzling ever changing eyes skimmed through the room. Violet could easily pick out the new Dread Queen, especially after the first evening in the Freehold. C'est la vie... The lush lips of the Flowering curled seeing the bar, and the royal grace she possessed easily took her to the counter, seeing Sam and nodding to order a drink. "Bonsoir Sam." Being a singer, Violet knew whom to save face with from the start.

After her drink arrived, the Fairest's delicate hand swirled the stick in the martini, smiling to those she may have seen at the coronation previously. As she was new, twas not her place to suddenly intrude. Yet she certainly paid close attention to the Metalflesh on the piano, pondering a thing or two while she sipped her drink.

So far, the Four Seasons is the only establishment Warren Locke knows of where he can drink without having to hide his true form from those like him.

Then again, perhaps that is naivete speaking.

However, if someone came to this place looking for trouble, they would have it whether or not they could see the towering, broad Ogre. Who is now very comfortably wearing a leather jacket, that is appropriate to the season.

It might contrast the formal slant to his shirt, tucked behind black slacks that end in boots with a slight wear to their former polish. It might contrast, but Harrison Ford and Indiana Jones have done much for the style and appeal of an old bomber jacket.

Locke gives little thought to it, though. His bearing is a confident one, if a bit on the somber side. He offers Terri a nod, along with his own muted version of a smile. Instead of interrupting her, or Rook's playing, he eases to the bar and places a large, green hand on the surface to bid Sam's attention.

"Does Miss Rosemary have any more of that Sunshine brewed?"

His voice is probably meant to be at a private volume, but it has a depth that carries easily. After the Enscorceled accommodates him with that, or whatever else may be on hand, he levels his gaze away from those gathered. Looking for something, or maybe just lost in thought.

Rook's fingers flowed smoothly into a new piece, more pleasant and with a little deeper flare of emotion than the first. As Terri Nutkins and Perry diCarto approached him at the piano, he nodded slightly in welcome. It was always good to see other Lost walking in and out of the Four Seasons bar. It was part of what made this place a home for the Changelings of Sacramento - the freedom to simply be here.

He kept the tune going, a little smile tugging at the corner of his mouth.

"Good evening, both of you. Nice to see you out and about."

Out of his peripheral vision, he regarded the other two individuals entering. Violet and Warren... well, perhaps quite a party was gathering.

Perry smiled at Terri's remark. "Hey, Terri... not anymore. How are things?" His tone was pleasant, but somewhat subdued, like diCarto had had a long one. Were they ever truly alone in a Freehold such as this? There was more to a Freehold than protection from Them... the companionship was wonderful too. At the very least, the Beast's company had proven to be welcome.

"Nice to be here," the lawyer replied pleasantly to Rook's welcome. "Looks like it's going to be a sizable audience tonight..." His emerald eyes swept across the newcomers. The sheer presence of Violet LeBlanc swept over him, and yet again he found himself questioning his... interests for the briefest of a moments. The Shadowsoul offered the jazz singer a smile, and nodded over at @Warren Locke . He recalled the Ogre from a night months back... a night a lot like this one.

It's a pretty good crowd for a Saturday.

"I'm curious, Rook... do you happen to take requests?"
    A hopeful grin followed.

Placing her purse down nearby, Terri smiled to Rook as she leant on the piano, always enjoying listening to the Elemental play. There was something strange about seeing the Metalflesh's riveted fingers tinkering across the keys. For such a powerful man, he was almost tender when playing.

"Yeah, looks to be," Terri replied as she sipped at her drink and waved to both Warren and Violet, interested in learning more about them both, especially the woman who caused such a stir at the Coronation.

Still at the bar, the Flowering wished to avoid Faux Pas as per the Autumn Coronation, despite the fact that it was not her fault. Besides, she would have missed an opportunity to speak to a Ogre of Nobility as he came upon the area to the very popular Sam.

With the Nightsinger's harmonic French accent, her tone was friendly as she spoke to Warren Locke . Bonjour monsieur. I’m Violet LeBlanc.” A radiant grin swelled her lips as the Flowering gave a playful indication of over hearing. Well aware he may have tried to be quiet, the Spring still couldn't help herself. Excusez-moi, what is this Sunshine brew that you speak?” The delicate fingers of the Fairest swirling in a searching motion in the air. It was easy to survey the tall Witchtooth beside her and the hint of leather barely trickled through the aroma of exotic flowers.

The gorgeous Spring Fairest still kept an interested eye on the group gathered by Rook. His music made her feel like singing. Interested surprise cast upon her face to hear a Metalflesh play well. Seeing the sweet petite Autumn Queen, Violet raised her glass gently into the air. A toast of hello to Terri Nutkins returning her wave with her own flair.
